A perfect house and perfect hosts. Absolutely amazing place. Breakfast was perfectly cooked and the best I have ever had. The drawing room is beautifully furnished. Best Hotel or B&B I have ever stayed in and have already stayed in over 20 in last 12 months.

    Yes. We can provide a full breakfast between 8 and 10 am. All we ask is that you let us know the previous night and indicate what time you require.

  • Is there a separate living area or just tye bedroom
    Dear guests. We have a large hallway area outside the bedrooms that is setup as a library with sofas and a puzzle table and a great view towards the sea and Ben Hiant across the sound of Mull. We also have a downstairs drawing room newly opened this year with a log burner and seating for 10.

Company information

We first saw Linndhu House on a frosty winters day in early December 2010 when we went to view it as potential buyers. The house had been looking for a new owner for a little while. We immediately loved what we saw and rushed back home to Aberdeen with lots of plans and ideas. By Christmas Eve and only a few weeks after our initial viewing we had became the owners of this beautiful old house. Since moving to the island in 2011 we have spent the intervening years tastefully and sympathetically bringing the house up to comfortable modern standards. Having enjoyed the house with our own sons for the past six years we felt the time was right to once again open the house to visitors. We are delighted to be sharing Linndhu with our guests and we look forward to welcoming you to Isle of Mull to find out for yourselves all that it has to offer

Linndhu House is a substantial, country house bed and breakfast set in 27 acres of private and secluded grounds. Less than 2 miles from the vibrant and picturesque town of Tobermory to the north, our house nestles between the beautiful Aros Park and the Sound of Mull to the east and stunning wilderness to the south and west.
