“John was a lovely host, showed us around the whole property when we arrived. The area was so cute and well maintained. The Little Barn was very comfortable (although missed the fact the second bedroom had to be accessed through the main bedroom) so we put the mattress off the single bed in the lounge for our 3rd adult so all had their own privacy. Perfect for someone with children who want the kids bedroom next to the main bedroom. Used the spa pool and it was just lovely after a day of walking The Shambles!”

“A nice quiet country location within easy reach of the park and ride and York. There's a sauna and hot tub on site, and there was a welcome pack of bread, butter, coffee, tea, sugar and milk waiting for us when we arrived. There's also a Toby Carvery a short walk away if you don't feel like cooking. Very friendly, helpful host.”

“The rooms were presentable and nice and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped and little gifts on arrival. The hot tub and sauna were a lovely extra touch to our stay as well. Well worth another visit and would recommend anyone wanting to stay near York or surrounding areas.”
