Accomodation was very central so parking problems.
Accomodation was very central so parking problems. Short term parking only. Free at night but had to be out and away very early. Town centre very drab like any other old industrial town in decline. Eating out mostly limited to fast food places but found the pearl of Dudley - Olives. Highly recommend. Great food, friendly service. All round excellent.
Black Country Living Museum great place to visit.

This property is very convenient.
This property is very convenient. Its close to lots of shops and restaurants. Unfortunately the property has appliances that don't work as it should. There is no heating but a portable fan heater which is a Health and safety hazard. Microwave does not work, no hairdryer although the website says otherwise. No shampoo or shower gel provided. When complained about it to the management agency answer given was they are using a new housekeeping crew. My partner and I could not shower before visiting our friends and family. As it was Xmas day so everything was closed. Beware its an unmanned building so any problems will be through phone before close of business and any emails sent will have a link for you which does not work and your email will bounce back. The management had an answer for this as well: there is a problem with their links and IT are addressing the issue which should be resolved next week ??? What a shame.

The location of the hotel is excellent.
The location of the hotel is excellent. Easy to find just off the main routes, good transport links with a bus service 50 yards from the door and a train station just down the road. good for visiting Black Country Museum and Dudley Castle and Zoo, both within a 20 minute walk. Cinema and 10 pin bowling just a 10 minute walk away with restaurant chains near by.

Was there on business so didn’t do museum, castle etc but in the evening there’s not much in way of decent pubs/restaurants or shops for food (lots of pizza/kebab takeaways). Some lovely old buildings, but the area is clearly in decline.
We booked this hotel as it was were we spent our first wedding night 40 years ago! The staff were very welcoming and even gave us a bottle of bubbly to celebrate. The room was comfortable and clean and the hotel was well located for the town centre, Dudley Zoo and the Black Country Museum. The kitchenette is very useful but breakfast and evening meals are also available at the The Office bar and restaurant which is part of the Hotel.
Interesting location and not well signposted so quite hard to find , rooms and bed were comfortable and tidy , not luxury but every acceptable. Great restaurant Hickories right next door which was very good. Some of the best American smoke house food I have had in the UK with friendly and god service and some great beer , whicbh was a real bonus .
The hotel staff were friendly. woudl stay again if I was in the area.
When we arrived to check in there was an incident in reception with a drunk guest. The staff member dealt with it well (Nathan). He apologised and offered to upgrade our room to an interconnected room. Our boys were very happy with this. Nathan was very professional and we are very grateful that he took time to consider our needs and ensure we were in a quiet area. Thank you.
Whilst the hotel is in a somewhat run-down area my room was much better than I expected. Whilst the carpet had clearly seen better days my bed was really comfortable and everything I needed was there. Having a bath was an unexpected bonus in the en-suite and the facilities were basically clean. There was ample milk, tea and coffee.
Rooms on the fourth floor comfortable with excellenet views towards the canal. It was a quite/floor section of the hotel to stay.
Breakfast was good and staff helpful.
Breakfast area clean, comfortable and airy.
Safe ample parking available
The hotel is beautiful and all the facilities are modern, clean and well kept. All the staff we're exceptionally welcoming and friendly. The food at the bar was a bit pricey but great quality, delivered to the room very quickly, hot and fresh.
bed broken and unlevel. Hotel was dirty. Our member of staff who attempted to stay felt compelled to not stay the night so checked out and booked into a local Travelodge at his own cost
The hotel was really convenient for Merry Hill and the bed was comfortable. Lovely welcome at breakfast. Spacious fridge in room. The pool was a decent size. Check out really efficient
The property was lovely. I didn’t find the codes for the doors hard to understand as some said. It is right by the town centre and a short walk to Dudley Bus Station.
It's in a good location, few steps walk to town centre. It's a very clean and calm property.
Studio was spacious and clean. Cleaning staff was helpful.
