Buyer beware on this one!! The hosts required a photo ID up front, and demanded a 100 lb deposit by asking for banking information in spite of the fact that they already had my credit card. There are lots of good accomodations out there to choose from. No need to risk so much on one or two nights stay. And communication was non existent. The only communication I received was notification that there was no refunds, and could I please forward my banking information. What??? In the United States we call that a scam!!

I think the pub down stairs is friendly enough and they serve carvery and buffet breakfast. Unfortunately the room, although at first glance looked ok, was are damp and in need of repair, when your friend says 'Is it raining indoors' you probably know its not the best place to stay again. quite noisy next to a road and bright at night. maybe ok for a really cheap stay when you've been out and don't care to much. good supply of tea and coffee in room just not the most appealing, I wouldn't book again.RikkiUnited Kingdom
