We loved the cottage and the beautiful garden - a magical place. It was easy to communicate with Sue and she and her family were such great, lovely hosts! Sue introduced us to her tasty Welsh cakes, a pleasure! The beds are very comfortable and it´s easy to relax in the cottage and in the magnificent garden. It was nice that there was an additional toilet upstairs. The location was great to explore the area.

The garden was beautiful and the cottage was well furnished and very comfortable. The hosts were extremely friendly. The location was peaceful and quiet. There was always plenty of hot water and the shower was powerful and easy to operate.

Everything about this cottage was lovely. The owner made us very welcome, the position was beautiful with lovely canal walks and the cottage very comfortable and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed.

A cozy little cottage, surrounded by gardens and views of the Beacons. Well facilitated and clean. Friendly welcoming hosts, loved the home made Welsh cakes on arrival. Good access to local amenities, visitor sites and lovely local walks directly from cottage to the Canal and surrounding area. Thank you!

The cottage was perfect, everything you needed was there. Location was lovely. Very peaceful. Sue was an excellent host. Will definitely be returning. There where so many places close by to visit and the canal was only a short walk away.

I was self catering so whenI arrived I was suprised to find home made Welsh cakes a jug of milk so I could make tea all very welcome after a long journey as were the chocolates. Sue gave me a very warm welcome shared her wonderful garden no restrictions on where I could sit The cottage is very well equipped nicely furnished and felt like home

Great view of the Blorange and Pandy ridge. Just a short drive to Abergavveny.

Location is excellent, quiet with a large garden and extensive views. Plenty of walks or cycling along canal and old railway or in the hills a bit further away.

Beautiful cottage in lovely grounds, very clean and homely, we had a lovely stay and a very warm welcome even though we arrived very late after a long drive down from Scotland. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cottage to anyone. Was lovely to be able to take our dog with us too and she was very happy and our little girl loved it too.

EVERYTHING WAS THERE THAT YOU WOULD EVER NEED. PERFECT THE COTTAGE WAS SPOTLESS AND EXCEEDINGLY CLEAN .PERFECT IT WAS IN A DELIGHTFUL LOCATION.PERFECT THE HOST GREETED US.THE MINCE PIES AND WELSH CAKES WERE MOST WELCOME.PERFECT THERE IS ONE WORD THAT WILL EXPRESS EVERYTHING AND THAT IS. PERFECTION

I’m looking to travel with 3 children,8,10+13 and this property comes up with my search results but it’s not clear how it will sleep 4 persons? The Cottage has a single bed together with a super king size bed which splits if required into two large single beds there is also a fold out full size single bed for an additional family member sleeping downstairs in the lounge.Answered on 31 May 2021

hi, is your cottage convenient to access if we do not have a car and use public transport? ThanksWe are situated in the country approximately 700metres off the bus route and 4miles from the train station in Abergavenny. Taxi service will bring you to the door from the train station but the distance from the bus stop might be too much for some.Answered on 19 July 2021

Hi, I am planning to travel with my family (2 adults + 2 children aged 10 and 12). May I ask, how many beds do you have at the property, please? On the photos I kind of distinguish 3 single beds, however on the description section it is written 1 single bed, 1 extra-large double bed.Hi, the extra large bed (Super King Size)can be made up as two single beds if required and there is a comfortable single fold out bed for use if appropriate in the lounge. The fold out bed is stored in a cupboard under the stairs.Answered on 30 May 2021

Hi, we're a small family looking to have a short weekend away from Cardiff. Your apartment looks really lovely. Please can you let me know if there are any easy walks we can do locally (suitable for a 7 year old). Thanks very much.We are fortunate to live within 300 yards of the Mon & Brecon canal which has a level towpath for miles in either direction. There are other easily walked footpaths close to the cottage offering views across to the Sugarloaf and over the Usk Valley.Answered on 18 May 2021
