Britain’s 4th most popular visitor destination, Bristol boasts Brunel’s magnificent Clifton Suspension Bridge spanning the River Avon. More Brunel handiwork is in the harbour where his SS Great Britain steamship is moored. Pirate walks here detail the city’s underground naval history.
Further north in Clifton is the world’s oldest zoo outside a capital city. Other Bristol attractions include At-Bristol Museum and the Grade I-listed Corn Exchange with its 4 "nails" outside where money changed hands. Also worth a visit is St Nicholas Market, in a Georgian square home to several bars and a Slow Food Market on the 1st Sunday of every month. Other Bristol shopping options include shopping centres at Cabot Circus, and Cribbs Causeway on the outskirts.
As a student city, Bristol really comes to life after dark. The live music scene here is fantastic and has given way to several internationally known bands, but for something more alternative head to Eastside.
Another option for alternative-seekers is the work of hometown street artists Banksy. Just like Booking.com’s Bristol accommodation, his work is spread throughout this fabulous city.
This Gateway to the West Country is served by Bristol Airport and Temple Meads train station. The old Bristol to Bath railway line is now a cycle route and makes a great day trip.

I liked the shopping in Bristol and the people were friendly. There are so many parts of Bristol that you would need a few days to see it all.
And of course its home to Banksy, which I managed to see. There is a lot of Graffiti Art, which is amazing, but there is a lot of 'normal' graffiti which is an eyesore.
The Clean Air Zones are expensive if your only visiting, £27 for two and a bit days, If you went for a week it would a lot to your break, for nothing in return. And there seems to be a lot of Traffic lights and roundabouts lol

Bristol is a great little city.
Bristol is a great little city. Nice to see some of the UK outside of London. Very close to Bath, Cardiff, and other interesting places to see. We stayed in Clifton which is a very charming little village just above the city center and very easy to get to. Parking is a bit of a challenge but we managed to figure it out quite quickly.

Bristol is a place with a lot of history & the S.S.
Bristol is a place with a lot of history & the S.S. Great Britain ship is well worth visiting. Clifton Bridge & its surrounding area is worth visiting too. Bristol though is the graffiti capital of Europe - sadly most of it has little artistic value and the city is definitively car unfriendly with so many road restrictions and cameras everywhere.

We found Bristol a very friendly city. Everyone smiled. Loved the market at ST Nicholas well outside stalls inside too much for me. Plenty of coffee shops and even more restaurants no shortage of cocktail bars. Over all a lovely city will be back i promise.

Hotel was fab next to an amazing bakery Ahh Toots it’s a must, food exceptional and the staff are too.
We ate at the Little French which was the best and we also went to the Lido which you must visit- you need to book both before your visit as they are both very popular places.

This was our second stay at The Bristol Hotel, and it was just as amazing two years on. On arrival we were greeted at Reception by friendly and helpful staff, but throughout our stay every member of staff we passed in the corridor asked how were were and if we needed anything. Impressed with the efficient and welcoming staff team. Our Classic double room had a coffee machine, nice toiletries, comfy kind size bed and good shower and we were thrilled to be allocated a bedroom looking out on the waterside. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding, the standard of food was high, with big selection of lovely Danish pastries, banana bread, croissants: my husband had the fried breakfast which he said was great, and I ordered porridge which was made especially, and this came piping hot , the gentleman serving us remembered I requested honey on the side. We had a lovely break at this hotel, and recommend this hotel to anyone that wants a family or romantic break, it is in a great location right by the waterfront and is near all the bars and restaurants, Bristol Hippodrome, The Bristol Beacon (Music Venue). Look forward to our next time and a thank you to the staff for making our stay so welcome and relaxing.
Room was well-kept, clean, spacious, nicely furnished, and comfortable to stay in.
It featured the amenities expected, and also a mini fridge, which is something even hotel chains don't often include, and this was very handy.
Staff are attentive and friendly, and easily available.
The property is in a good location, ideal for visiting the local common, the shops and bars etc. along Gloucester road, and for getting into Bristol city centre easily enough.
I have stayed twice now, and would happily do so again in future.
Excellent hotel with friendly and efficient staff. The breakfast service was superb and the breakfast arrived promptly and was perfectly cooked and well presented. My room was spotless and the bed was comfortable and the bathroom facilities excellent.I also enjoyed the beer garden where you could order your drinks and they would be brought to the table. As Ì travelled by train I was pleased that their was a bus stop right outside the hotel which connected with Bristol Temple Meads Station and the City Centre.
I liked the location a lot - the nearest train station is only 10 minutes away, several supermarkets are nearby, and the city centre could be reached easily. The hotel itself is lovely decorated, and there were tea, coffee, and even some fruit in my room. The breakfast offers different options, of which there was none I didn't find delicious :) Also the staff attending the breakfast every morning were very kind and accomodated the guests' requests as best as possible.
The staff were very inviting from the moment we stepped inside the hotel. One staff member even gave us a map of Bristol and helped us pick out nice bars for the evening! Our room could not have been any cleaner and had everything we needed, including a hair dryer and mini fridge. We could not have asked for anything else and would 100% recommend this hotel if you are looking for something of a decent price, modern and a walking distance from the city centre.
I have stayed at the Arnos Manor Hotel on many occasions now. It provides me with spotlessly clean accommodation close to my work in Bristol. It’s ideally located for work and Bristol city centre with free parking available. Every room I have stayed in has been spotlessly clean. They also provide little extras such as iron, ironing board and hair dryers in all rooms. Not all hotels provide these.
Location is very convenient. You can find everything around the hotel . I’m really impressed with the staff service 👍👍. We came here to send our daughter to Bristol University. We can walk from here to her new uni apartment within 10 mins.
Very well organised and efficient check- in and check-out, the hotel was perfect for driving into Bristol whilst still being close the the city centre and the harbour. Very clean and care to Covid precautions taken very seriously. Fantastic!
Excellent buffet breakfast, plenty of choice. Comfortable room. Location perfect for what we wanted to do. We didn't use the swimming pool but it looked inviting. Hotel was busy but plenty of space to sit and have a drink from the bar.
The location is irrelevant for me tbh yes there's no much round about it but the hotel has a bar and a Starbucks I love them both the rooms are quite big and it's clean and has everything maybe apart from a fridge really need that
Clean, comfortable bed and quiet. Ideally located in city centre so perfect for attending graduation at Bristol cathedral - parking safe and secure at millennium car park and 20% discount was good from hotel.
It was clean and functional. The breakfast was limited but good and the staff were nice and friendly. It’s a 15-20 minute drive to town and there nothing to do near the hotel but lots of parking.
Great, spacious place, newly renovated. Not best location if you’re planning to see Bristol city centre but great if you travel by car. Very quiet area, free parking, kitchen fully equipped
the location is so strategically located near Bristol Temple Meads station. The staff experience was the best. They were very helpful and the room is comfortable for England’s hotel
Nice small hotel with the basics. It is very well located in Bristol and there is a Banksy graffiti near the hotel.
Staff was polite. There was an electric kettle in my room.
probably the best location in Bristol. car park less than hundred metres away and on the river next to all the bars and restaurant.Easy walk into the shops at the city centre.
very clean and modern, staff were super friendly and always eager to help. the attached ncp car park was secure and had direct access to the hotel. breakfast was superb
