Stokenchurch is a lovely village with very pleasant residents. However the Kings Hotel is a big let down to the area. If I were to return I would find better accommodation. It would probably be alot cheaper and cleaner.

Nice country style walk to Stokenchurch or The Dashford Arms in opposite directions along the A40. Chris' Cafe is a good truck stop style eatery with decent choices at decent prices.
