Very comfortable room, staff very politely. Wonderful shower, very hot and excellent pressure.

The bed was comfortable and clean. It was a short walking distance from where we wanted to be. The owner or manager who greeted us was nice and pleasant. The Victorian fireplace was nice but misplaced in such a small room. Kettle, tea, coffee and biscuits provided in the room.

The room i stayed in was clean. It was very spacious compared to other B and B's i have stayed in at Oxford. The staff were very warm and welcoming. The property is situated in the heart of summer town, which is very close to shops and amenities as well as bus stops to the city center. Overall i will definitely stay there again in the future.

“The B & B is in a very good location being close to bus stops with regular buses into the centre of Oxford which took approx 10 mins. Also off street parking is available. The room was clean and beds fairly comfy, and had a fairly modern bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. There's quite a few shops close by including a tesco express and sainsbury's local and a couple of eating places and down a side road the Mamma Mia Pizza place was excellent. The Drop Inn pub was like a tardis, looked nothing from outside but went on forever when you got inside! Also sold food although we didn't eat there.”

눉The bath was a bit hit and miss with the amount of water coming out of the tap. The bed says it's a double but it's actually 2 singles, also not very comfortable. In the morning you can hear everything someone must have just been running up and down the stairs all morning. I also requested a late check out a week before arrival but I never got a response from the staff.

눉Both the beds were extremely uncomfortable, the radiators were inefficient. The breakfast room was in another building, the breakfast for was basic, the fruit old and inviting, the chair covers and table ware were old, not ironed and in places stained.

눉Undoubtedly the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept in. No reception desk - had to ring when we got there having rung the bell several times and didn't get a particularly welcoming welcome. Won't be back.

눉We thought it was seedy as soon as we walked in. The place was in need of painting, the water pipes were exposed in the bedroom. My heart sank when I saw it. It reminded me of a run-down bedsit I had as a student. The room was very small - you could just about walk round the bed. I banged my leg on the radiator every time I walked to the door, as the room was so small. The bathroom was not very clean especially floor and walls with marks on them, although the shower had been cleaned. We would not stay here again . At half the price (it cost £76 a night, it would have been overpriced for what it offered.
