Why you should stay here: - Close to RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall if you are military. - Close to A11 for commuting. - Fresh soft towels and water in your room each day. - Caters breakfast to food allergies and diets, as well as serves breakfast upon times requested that suits your schedule. - Welcomed to room with baked goods. - Beautiful English garden.

Brief but great couple of days at this wonderful old building (15th century!) .. it might be the oldest room we have ever stayed in. Tracey and Nick were lovely and very helpful hosts, and the breakfast was really good. The nearest pub (the Bull Inn) was only 50 metres away and had great food and sensible Covid measures in place. Lovely riverside walk at the end of the street.

Sat by the River Lark, Lord Mayors Cottage enjoys wonderful riverside views, offering peace and tranquillity, perfect for fishing, relaxing and enjoying our daily bird life visits so bring your why not book yourself in and bring your fishing rod and/or your binoculars. Special occasions can be catered for, please email for further information and a chauffeur service is also available with prior booking. Perfect for the Thetford and Newmarket music evenings. Meeting Room also available.
