Lovely short break in lovely clean cottage. Just a short hop to alton towers

Very good cottage close to Alton towers, 2 bedrooms so kids can stay in separate room, large living room/kitchen. Shower was really powerful. There were alpacas, a dog, chickens which my kids really liked and a small play area. Great location. Would def stay again if coming to Alton towers - excellent price.

Cottage is on a farm with lovely views there is a climbing frame which is great for the kids. The cottage was lovely perfect for a family of four. Staff are friendly perfect location for Alton towers which was the reason for our stay.

  • if you get the holiday home can we still use play area ?

    There is a small children's play area and a large field for playing ball games available for all the guests staying at Lower Micklin.

  • hi, were looking to have a family trip to Alton towers, 2 adults 3 older kids) booking in on the 20/9/21 till 23/09/21. but we don't drive and will be traveling by train, could you lmk your nearest train station. and is Alton towers walking distance or cab.

    The nearest train station to Lower Micklin is in Uttoxeter which is 7 miles away. We are located in a rural environment with no public transport so a car is essential for your stay with us.

    Each of our cottages have a single bathroom which consists of a shower, basin and toilet.

  • Hi We are a family of 6 with our youngest being 2 years old, is it possible to bring along our travel cot for our 2 year old?

  • Hello, is there wheelchair access to the cottages? Do you have a downstairs wetroom? is there a downstairs bedroom?

    Cottage 1 is a ground floor cottage with no steps or thresholds. The front door has been widened for easier access. The bathroom is on the ground floor and is accessible by a wheelchair but the fittings have not been adapted in any way.
