The Staff were really good and helpful. The Hotel was very nice bit dated but very nice. It was a shock to find they did not have a lift they have a stair lift but the stairs are so narrow and I am not small it was a bit scary. But nothing was to much for them from the manager down to the chamber maid's Thank You Very Much

I remember the Lowther from 40 years ago and even in 2007 - it was a bit of a dive and run down. Now they have spend a lot of money on this 1824 (the first hotel still standing built in the East Riding) but kept a sense of history in the property. The hotel is spotless and there is always someone on call at the front desk. The hotel is next to the docks and was interesting to look out on but without any noise or disturbance. Parking was easy - either at the front or in a car park at the rear. I would recommend the evening meal offer of £10 for 2 - how can they do that? The accommodation on a Thursday night for 2 in a double room with bed and breakfast was £79.50.

The Lowther Hotel on Aire Street in Goole, East Yorkshire is a newly-restored Grade II* listed hotel. Now in 2020 we have upgraded our rooms to Serviced Apartments with their own kitchenette. It boasts 15 individually designed, boutique-style bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities, and small stylish kitchenette The Coach House is the ideal place to meet up with family, friends or colleagues to enjoy the evening. From there you could end up dancing the night away in Voodoo Chilli multi genre nightclub till 5am Friday and Saturdays. Accessible Location. With its excellent motorway and rail links, Goole is a great base from which to explore the wider Yorkshire region and The Lowther Hotel is well positioned for those visiting the area on business. Located just two miles from Junction 36 of the M62 and half an hour from Robin Hood Airport at Doncaster, The Lowther Hotel is within walking distance of Goole Railway Station and just a ten minute taxi ride from Howden Railway Station, which has direct rail links to London.
