    Beautiful location.

Beautiful location. If you enjoy walks then the park and beach over the road will not disappoint. Locals where friendly. Shops locally and take aways also. Family pub just down the road, does allowe dogs outside but not inside so we didn't go in there. We didn't go into the town centre, didn't need to.

Such a lovely little town! So peaceful and calm!

Such a lovely little town! So peaceful and calm! As soon as you step out of the train, you can feel the difference! The air is clean! People are lovely and friendly! Oh and the beach is so breathtaking! Not much entertainment if you have very active kids like mine but if you go when the weather is nice then the beach will keep them busy for the whole day!

Pleasant, but possibly a little old fashioned for younger visitors. Lovely wide and sandy beaches. Beautiful villages and countryside behind Prestatyn, great for walkers and cyclists, and Prestatyn is a good start for visiting historic North Wales.

Staff were not interested in selling caravans, was unable to purchase a meal in the main venue because we did not prebook. We weren't informed of this before hand so we left the following morning disappointed. Hopefully you will learn from this I worked for Borne Leisure years ago so I know how to treat patrons.

A great destination if you don't want to take the car.

A great destination if you don't want to take the car. The town centre and beach are a short walk from the train station. There are direct trains to London, Manchester, Birmingham... The seafront has lots of stuff for rain or shine (beach with good sand, a soft play centre an indoor swimming pool, a playground, cafés and restaurants). We had a lovely time.

The old wash house is central to everywhere, with the beach a 5 minute walk away and Rhyl a 10 minute drive down the road! It is the perfect location for a north wales holiday! All of the facilities are brilliant. Everything you could possibly need is right at your finger tips (including a well stocked snack jar with nibbles and hot chocolate!) Lyz greeted my partner and i with a very warm welcome, giving us all the information we could possibly need. She is a wonderful host and we will definitely be booking again!

What a wonderful find. A beautifully furnished, well equipped apartment. We loved the comfortable bed, amazing shower, fully equipped modern kitchen and the great living and dining area. Catherine is a wonderful host, very easy to communicate with and her instructions for check- in and how to use the shower,, heating, appliances etc are so well done and easy to follow. I would absolutely recommend Catherine's apartment and look forward to staying again next time we're in Prestatyn.

We loved everything about The Old Wash House and location. Very snug and cozy. All the facilities were very conveniently placed and everything you could need for a peaceful stay. Lyz was friendly and informative. Nothing was too much trouble and the location was perfectly convenient for the town centre, beach local convenience store and train station. A very dog friendly area with beautiful walks being an extra bonus.

On arrival ample free parking. Close proximity to town centre. Pleasant location. Staff very welcoming. Attractive beer garden area. Good sized twin room even if the layout was a little quirky. En-suite bathroom. View of the garden. Absolutely superb breakfast. The hotel is now dog friendly and seemed very popular with locals. The new owners are lovely and make you feel very welcome. Great value for money

Location is fabulous ... Right on the seafront so ideal for early morning dog walks and sunset walks and photographs Food was tasty and pleased even fussy children which is always a plus.. Plenty of clean towels with details provided on how to get more if needed. Nearby food available and a park and amusement arcade for the children. Ideally situated to visit other parts of North Wales.

My expectations were for a budget hotel , no frills and that's what I got! If you are looking for bells and whistles , look elsewhere . The room was clean , the bed was ok , I slept well enough and the breakfast was good. There is parking , there is a pub , there is wifi, everything I needed for a very brief visit to North Wales.

Short walk to the beach, local shops. 5 minute drive either way to Rhyl and Prestatyn. I would stop here again without a doubt.
