“Food, restaurant server is very efficient, fast, friendly, professional. All food on the menu are super tasty and well done great chef, one of the best french fries in Scotland (if not the best one) and not expensive. Squid ring is the only so-so taste, but maybe because they are purchased frozen (?) and not made by the Chef herself; all other food made by the chef is superb, including the kids menu. They are serious about food.”

“The staff were amazing. Being a family run hotel, it makes a difference. You’re not just a number. This is the first hotel when after I explained I have some mobility issues, carried out a personal evacuation plan, which I thought, ‘someone actually cares that I get out the building in the event of an emergency’. They were also, fabulous in accommodating our bikes. The food was absolutely delicious. Possibly the best fish n chips I’ve had. The starter was amazingly too.”
