Well proportioned room. Excellent location. Fair breakfast (cooked breakfast was charged extra). Friendly staff.

United States of AmericaI traveled with my elderly mother and my cousin cane to help me. The staff quickly put up a camp bed in the room so we could all stay together and we had the best time! The river view room was once again lovely and we loved the breakfast delivered to our room. We all had a Fresno in the spa where again, you could not have asked more and the staff escorted my mum up to our room when she had finished. The whole ambience is relaxing and fun and so caring . We love it!

The Malmaison Newcastle is housed in a beautifully converted river-front warehouse, just yards from the Gateshead Millennium Bridge. Decorated in deep purples and plush velvets, it has a dramatic, eye-catching modern style.
Many of the boutique-style rooms have fantastic views of the River Tyne. Each has mood lighting and a satellite flat-screen Freeview TV. The private bathrooms have power showers and luxury toiletries.
With breathtaking views of the river, the bar offers fine wines and fabulous cocktails, while the brasserie serves delicious cuisine made with fresh, local ingredients.
