United KingdomVery private, charming and self contained. A great escape bolt hole Everything you needed was at hand. Great features Under floor hearing Wooden bath Log burner Games, DVDs and great information Fresh bread, butter, eggs milk and wine on arrival Fabulous hosts
United KingdomEverything! 😊😊😊"The Bothy" was absolutely charming with its wooden bath, a snug in the living room, a rustic kitchen and a log burner. The owners were very friendly and accommodating, making sure we settled in and had everything we needed. The cottage came fully equipped with everything one might need, from toiletries to books, games and DVDs in case you didn't bring your own entertainment. We couldn't believe the welcome hamper: it was full of chocolates, fresh bread, fruit loaf and in the fridge we found eggs, milk, butter and sausages. Honestly, the place made our holiday. Thank you Sherry and Irven 😊😊😊
United KingdomWe loved our stay at The Manor House Stables, the decor was both tasteful, quirky and comfortable. We felt spoilt with freshly ground coffee, delicious homemade cake, olive bread and homemade Jam. The host took great care to insure we enjoyed our Stay. Our children also loved the great big copper bath complete with twinkly atmospheric celling lights! This property is clearly a labour of love!
United KingdomLovely property, very well appointed with lots of character. We enjoyed looking around the attached museum too, an added bonus.

United KingdomGreat stay, lovely cottage feel and excellent hosts would definitely go back.
United KingdomThe owners are very friendly and welcoming and so are the goodies placed on the table and in the fridge. The place is very tastefully decorated and nothing at all is missing in terms of equipment. The perfect place to have a good rest. Easy access to Lincoln, so visiting the town and surroundings was very pleasant. Si Sherry and Irven keep up the good works. We'll visit again!

Warm, romantic and welcoming accommodation with wood-burning stoves. We carefully and lovingly restored our 18th century stables using eco-friendly materials and traditional methods into 2 units - the Hayloft and the Bothy which are both very special places to stay and relax. And now your pet can enjoy staying in the Bothy too! Curl up by the fire and enjoy your lovely hamper full of local or organic goodies, - chocolates, wine, fresh bread, jam, biscuits, plum bread and more! Both the Hayloft and Bothy have beautiful bedrooms, lovely living areas, well-equipped kitchens, brilliant bathrooms and gorgeous gardens! Relax in a copper spa bath in the Hayloft under twinkly lights or bathe in the wooden tub for two in the Bothy. Go out and visit castles, cathedrals, or the coast or enjoy eating out in the local pub or in the nearby town of Woodhall Spa. Lincoln is a must!
Welcome to the Manor House Stables! I hope you enjoy your stay here. My aim is to make the Hayloft and the Bothy both lovely warm inviting 'homes from home' for you. You will love staying in your cosy warm accommodation, but if you want to get out and about, I know quite a lot about the local area, so please ask me about my recommendations as to where to go to eat and drink, what to see and do and anything else! If you have any questions at all, please ring or text, or even come and knock on our door - we only live next door! I hope you have a wonderful stay and enjoy your holiday in Lincolnshire!
We are situated at the edge of the small village of Martin located centrally in the county of Lincolnshire. Our local amenities include our own village pub which serves food and another great pub/restaurant in our neighbouring village of Timberland. We are just 5 miles from the historic town of Woodhall Spa with its shops, restaurants, old-fashioned cinema, little museum, golf courses and aviation history, less than half an hour to Lincoln with its castle, cathedral, museums, boutique shops, and restaurants and just one hour's drive through the beautiful Wolds to the coast. We are also in an area renowned for good walks, cycling, bird watching, golf, angling and the big outdoors. You can cycle all the way to Lincoln along the Water Rail Way, walk along the Spa Trail, spend time at a nature reserve, walk along the coast or spend time bird and nature watching. Big skies, lots of stars, and loads of walks and cycling routes make this county a very special one! Lincolnshire played an important part in both World Wars. The only remaining flying Lancaster can be seen here and Woodhall Spa is rich in RAF history. There are many more attractions in Lincolnshire for you to discover!
