Location and the marine time pub /club on the harbour very welcoming . Much more than the ship.The staff member on the door was very pretentious .

Overlooking the picturesque harbor in Irvine's harbor-side district, the Marina Inn offers good-value accommodations close to Irvine's sandy beach and railway station.

Next to the Magnum Leisure Center, the Marina Inn is also just 2,300 feet from the town's indoor shopping center. Prestwick Airport is 8.1 mi away.

Some rooms have a beautiful harbor view. All rooms are spacious, with private bathroom facilities and a 32-inch wall-mounted flat-screen TV with Freeview digital channels and a DVD player. The rooms have ironing facilities, hairdryers, radio alarm clocks and tea/coffee making facilities.

I serve on Irvine Carters' Society committee, keeping busy organising Marymass and spreading The Carters' history. A Coach Irvine Junior badminton Club is a favourite. Enjoy golfing, only when I have a good score and keeping fit playing badminton.
