The room was lovely, and the fact it was directly in front of the Beer garden made it even better as you could sit outside your room have a drink alcohol or not and then go inside like a private garden attached to the room. There were ample towels in the Bathroom, but could do with a few more toiletries. The Pub had food on the bar (bread and Dripping) which may not be everyone's taste, but we LOVE B and D, it was also FREE!! the pub is a traditional English pub serving traditional beer and food :- local Pork Pies and Sausage Rolls, B and D, Pork Scratchings etc... Could not fault anything, we will be returning when we visit the UK again

Great location to visit family in Hoyland but also near Wentworth. Adjacent to Elsecar Park and Heritage Centre. Comfortable room. Pub downstairs if you fancy a drink but not noisy in the room.

Good location for visiting relatives. Next to Elsecar Heritage Centre and Elsecar Park. Near Wentworth. Country walks in the area. Nicely decorated large room with access from rear of pub. No need to go through pub except to book in or for a drink.

    No, at The Market we do not serve food. There is a cafe just a few minutes up the road called The Cottage Kitchen which w would recommend for breakfast.
