Lovely quiet little cottage in a great location. Although the annex is part of the farmhouse it is very private and peaceful, and feels quite separate. Very friendly helpful hosts who let us house our bike in their barn. Lovely comfortable bed and bedroom, really good shower, good facilities throughout, cosy sitting room and kitchen, everything you need for a comfortable stay in a beautiful area.

This property is situated on a working farm therefore pets must be kept on a lead and children must be supervised at all times. There are open, steep, spiral or narrow stairs at the property. Explore the Sett Valley Trail, walk Kinder Scout, see the caverns around Castleton and explore Eyam, the plague village, which are all found close by.. First Floor: Bedroom: With double bed.. Electric heaters, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.. Gravelled sitting-out area with garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 1 car. Two pets welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country). No smoking.. This pretty traditional cottage (ref 23363) and farmhouse (ref 24515), with scenic views, are perfectly situated on the owners’ working farm on the main road between Glossop and Chapel-en-le-Frith. Situated just 1 mile from the village of Hayfield, a popular base for a holiday exploring the Sett Valley Trail, walking the Kinder Scout, the caverns around Castleton, the plague village of Eyam, Edale, Hope, Chatsworth House, Haddon and Lyme Halls. Buxton, Bakewell, Glossop and Holmfirth are all an easy drive, as is Manchester with its excellent shopping. Golf and horse riding can also be found nearby. Shop and restaurant 1 mile, pub ¼ mile.
