Friendly and accommodating staff, good location near Baker Street

The person who checked us in saw we had big suitcases and offered us a basement room so we did not have to carry them up 3-4 flights to the rooms original given as choices. At first I was skeptical about a basement room, but it was fine. There were bars on the windows and shutters to close at night. The room was basic and simple. There was a sitting area, small kitchen area against one wall, a separate bed area behind a wall, and a small bathroom. The hot water worked well! The room and bathroom were clean. There was a very small love seat and a coffee table; and a small table and chairs. This room would be good for someone on a budget who wanted to cook a little in the room since there were dishes, etc. There is only a person at the desk for a short period of time each day. You let your self in with the room key after hours. The hotel is close to the Baker Street tube station and just off the main road.

The location is excellent close to majority of attraction and to buses and underground. There is a but that takes you Camden town few min walk from the hotel and it's about 10~15 min walk to the Regent's park's playground - which is great if you are traveling with kids.

The place is very clean and well run, even if very modest. All the facilities were working, unlike in some more expensive hotels. Kitchenette was also nice to have. They were also flexible with early check-in.

Reception/check-in was friendly and easy, and the room itself was not only clean but also more spacious than we expected. It even had a small kitchenette and the fridge came in very handy. The price and location were excellent.

Everything was great. Location: <5 minutes walk from underground and plenty of buses, too. There are also several shops, grocery stores, and restaurants nearby. Room: we used a room for 3-4 people and the room was much larger than we expected. The room was so good!! The staff was also very friendly and helpful!!
