Nice village with amazing green spaces, woodland and river location. Excellent for dog walking, places to stay and eat. Great walking but some steep hills to climb , some lovely traditions buildings, and friendly locals
Stayed at the Quarryman’s Arms , lovely place with great food and amazing views. Busy with locals and packed full for dinner & in the bar which is always a good sign.

I went to Bath Academy of Art eons ago in Corsham. Loved it then and love it now. Stunningly beautiful walks in and around the village, accessibility by bus x2 per hour into Chippenham and Bath, Corsham Court and the beautiful gardens to visit as well as the Pound Arts Centre, what's not to like?So here are a few photos to give you an idea of what's on offer.

It’s clearly isn’t it you’d think down to the management to clearly ask the question to are we just cancelling the car parking charge or cancelling the whole booking so we’re was there duty of care to us instead they take all my money I actually thought was £460 whilst looking back on this booking it was actually £479 something pence they claimed they have staff to consider paying and couldn’t rekey the room so loose out themselfs basically so I ask again we’re is the duty of care to us intact as I “said” it’s shameful disgusting and as for looking at the small print there policy “they are at fault I believe for clearly assuming not phoning or emailing us back to ask if this was the care parking fee or whole booking being cancelled ! They clearly could of comprised with given half of our money back “But it’s greed on there behalf losing out them selfs and don’t believe our room was not given to another customer especially sitting lying empty for 4 days oh no they clearly are unprofessional

Easily accessible by public transport - the X31 Faresaver...
Easily accessible by public transport - the X31 Faresaver bus runs frequently Monday to Saturday and limited service on Sunday (currently £2 bus fare until October 2023) - unless you have a bus pass - this bus runs between Bath Bus station and Chippenham Bus station - both of which gave train stations
It has many local independent cafes, shops (butchers, greengrocers and a coop) bakeries and pubs
It has plenty of walking opportunities as well as the annual walking festival that runs on the 2nd weekend in June
This is a beautiful and unusual hotel owned by a man and run by a staff who are deeply committed to hospitality. The meals were just amazing, the interior design is gorgeous and distinctive and the landscaping is designed around sustainable practices where grasses are permitted to grow wild but paths and walkways are carefully maintained so that the property can be enjoyed as much outside as inside.
I liked the location in its own grounds; the public rooms; and the bar area by the entrance. I also liked overhearing new staff being trained, particularly because (as with many hotels and restaurants) they are struggling to meet the high service standards we had become accustomed to before Covid.
Its close proxmity to the centre of town in terms of local shops (greengrocers, local butchers and a coop) Also a local bus stop near by which has good connections with a bus service 231 or X31 (Mondays to Fridays) from Bath spa bus station to Chippenham via Corsham run by faresaver
Rooms were comfortable. There are a lot of different spaces for eating, drinking and relaxing, including delightful courtyard so always felt homely but very professional. Breakfast was particularly good. Excellent location in the centre of Corsham - lots of walks close by.
A lovely little caravan with decking in a beautiful private gated area. Walkable distance into Corsham. Breakfast items provided in fridge for morning. Left some euros by accident which were swiftly sent to me by next day delivery by the lovely lady owner.
We really liked the property. The house has a superb location in a beautiful town, Corsham. It is a really nice property with two big bedrooms, clean and all equipped kitchen and a cosy living room. Amanda left a large variety of food for breakfast.
The room was very clean and comfortable- the complimentary beer and Prosecco were a nice touch. The breakfast was a delicious and decadent treat- we both had the eggs Benedict. The setting in the village of Corsham is very quaint.
Super clean, spacious and comfortable house. Plenty of living space - large high spec open plan kitchen, two large lounges. Great location - about 20 mins walk into Corsham which is lovely and the wider Wiltshire area.
Characterful hotel close to the historic centre of Corsham. Lovely decor and friendly helpful staff. Great food too. I stay here several times a year for work and it’s always a treat.
Free parking outside, gravel ground so hard suitcases :/
Historic hotel and beautiful scenery in the gardens
Rooms nicely furnished
Room itself was great value for money
The hotel is beautiful and has charming features. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff where lovely and made our Anniversary stay a weekend to remember.
We stayed for one night in the comfy two-bedroom house a short walk from the centre of the pretty village of Corsham. Plenty of items for breakfast in the fridge.
Spacious and comfortable work accommodation; short drive from local industry and a mile or so walk to downtown Corsham with its restaurants. Very well equipped.
Room was lovely. The bed super comfortable and the best pillows. Shower was super strong and rain fall style.
The hotel itself is eclectic and stylish.
