“Good size for a family of 4 which was welcomed as sometimes this isn’t the case. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed and had wonderful views of the donkeys / goats which my 8 year old particularly enjoyed. View out to sea when weather was clear. Lisa and Graham were friendly and happy to help with any queries. Nice to have the games room for the boys too. Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing week! MOT ! ”

“Accommodation was excellent throughout and the surroundings were wonderful. The location of Meadowbeck makes is really easy to drive to the coast in Whitby or out into the moors for exploring on foot. Though it was out of bounds due to coronavirus the shared games room and bar looked excellent and would be great for families.”

“Comfortable, snug beautiful cottage. Lots of thought given to decor and home comforts. Beds very comfortable. Very clean and well stocked kitchen. Good to get extras such as dishwasher tablets .. and fresh eggs and cake! Lots of thought given to making our stay memorable and perfect - which it was. Great location for moor walks. Close enough to walk down to Robin Hoods bay too .. can get a bus back to if you're too tired. All in all a truly perfect cottage, in a great location. ”

“Our stay at Meadow Beck was lovely. The cottage was lovely and warm with underfloor heating for your tootsie! There was tea and cake provided in the kitchen on our arrival, the cottage was finished to a very high standard, nice and comfortable. We didn’t realise the view till the weather had cleared...we spent a lot of time relaxing and taking it in! The owners were lovely and attentive there’s also an added bonus of the games room with pool and football table and a nice touch of the honesty bar. We truly loved our stay and will be back either on our own or with family. Fully recommend.”
