We look forward to welcoming you to Mine Hill House, our family home in the Cotswold countryside, where we enjoy outstanding views over three counties – Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and Warwickshire. The house dates from 1733, and has a wealth of period details including exposed beams, flagstone floors and big open fireplaces. It is situated in a commanding position at the top of the hill, in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is only a short drive from the pretty market towns of Banbury, Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Norton, Chipping Campden, Stratford-upon-Avon and Shipston-on-Stour. Situated on the first floor, the guest bedroom may be arranged as either a double or a twin room. There are beautiful views over the garden and the open countryside beyond from the bedroom windows. Beyond the en-suite bathroom is an additional small twin room, with a sloping ceiling and a very special access – over a beam and through the cupboard doors! This room is very popular with children as it is like a secret den. The bathroom is shared between the two rooms. Please note there is no shower in the bathroom.
