It's a great location, just off the motorway, easy to find, and plenty of free parking The bar area is clean and comfortable, the meal we had was really good, and the drinks are reasonably priced The room we stayed in was clean and quiet - there was a tv, tea and coffee and fresh towels etc, Friendly staff and locals, a bit of good music, it was a blast!! I definitely recommend, and I've already got another booking lined up for November xx

It was everything it stated it was on booking. Value for money very good. Extremely clean bedding was fresh and NO horrible musty smell to it like some bnb /hotels. TV simple to use with many channels. Shower very good towels were provided immaculate. Bed was so comfy had a sound night's sleep. I stayed during the week where yes there is the bar but I watched a little TV and was ready to sleep by 10.30pm and it was quiet. This maybe different come the weekend which is mentioned when booking so you expect some noise from the social area. Staff were friendly and helpful and the WiFi was fine.

  • Hi there, Do you accommodate early check in and late check out. If so, what times are these? And is there a fee?

    The earliest check in time we offer is mid day at the latest check out is 11am for free, we can sometimes do earlier and later but it is subject to availiblty on the day.

  • Hello, I was wondering if you would allow 5 to stay in your quadrupal room? We have two year old twins who would share one of the beds but just checking this would be allowed? Thank you

    that is fine, we could also provide a travel cot, if you would like that either request it on guest notes upon booking so we can have it set up ready for you or request it on arrival.

  • Hi can anyone book or only for key workers? I want to book today so pls get back to me asap! Also can i pay in cash and if so how. Im not a key worker

    currently only key and essential workers can stay due to government coronavirus restrictions, however once this changes we will be able to take bookings from everyone again

    unfortunately none of our rooms are interconnecting, however for bookings of multiple rooms we always try to keep everyone as close together as possible

    the latest check in time is 10pm however we can do this for you. we are 3.5miles from the belfry

  • Are you open next weekend or closed like everywhere else is me and my partner stayed here a few years ago it was great we loved the tequila rose.

    Wewill be following the Goverment's guidelines for the second lockdown and unfortunately our bar will be closed. However the lodge will still be open for those who are working away from home.

    yes, once checked in guests can access the lodge at any point from the side entrance with is located in our garden

    depending on which route a sat nav or signs take you it can be as little as 3 miles but up to 5.4miles for a more scenic route but it is apromixately a 10 minute drive away
