Staying at the mirador made a night in Swansea feel more like an occasion. The room was so comfortable and the theme went down to the last details. The four poster bed wasn't just for show! The mattress and bedding were perfect and we both slept incredibly well. The fridge full of goodies was really thoughtful and the bathroom was well stocked with towels and toiletries. Location was great too! Right next to Uplands but on a lovely quiet street.

This is a super cool place to stay. About eight rooms, all decorated with a different theme. The top pick is the penthouse Egyptian suite … large room, with a very large bathroom with bath tub and shower Fantastic service and communication before/during/after the trip. The hosts provided a great self service free breakfast even though it was not ordered in advance.

Phillip went above and beyond to provide us with information about checking in to The Mirador ,parking and nearby restaurants. He upgraded our room free of charge and helped us with our bags and settling in. The Mirador is a unique place furnished with the many treasures Phillip and his wife collected over years of international travel. Our Egyptian suite was beautifully furnished with a comfortable bed with soft cotton sheets and an adjacent sitting area and kitchenette. The bathroom was amazing with a huge tub & separate shower and gold sink with the same Egyptian motif as the room. We enjoyed the well stocked refrigerator and kitchen facilities for an after dinner drink and a lovely continental breakfast in the morning. There are multiple restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and Phillip was the perfect host in providing everything we could possibly want for our stay.
