“Generally it was quite good,but I found the bed grossly uncomfortable ( a set of two beds joined to make double ) with a hard ridge going down the centre and far too soft. Worst nights sleep in a long while. Breakfast was a hit and miss affair with the toast being left off our order and bacon not freshly grilled ! Spoilt the whole experience. ”

“The bed was really comfortable. Wide choice of food at evening meal in bar and breakfast was delicious. We also like the location as it was not far from the M6. We also enjoyed watching the ducks on the lake.”

“Delightful location conveniently short distance from motorway which can be seen but not heard. Pleasant welcome on arrival. Room was very comfortable and well presented. Squeaky clean bathroom. Comfortable bed, pillows and good towels. Surrounding garden is pretty and well presented. Dinner in the bar was okay - suspect restaurant would have been a better option. Breakfast - top notch.”
