The room was spacious and clean.
The pool was very nice, good size and all facilities were working. Can't comment on the gym as we did not use it, however it looked very nice.
Breakfast was lovely, a great variety of food.
I would recommend a treatment, I had a full body massage and it was amazing!

Jo, the publican, was very friendly when we checked in. She gave us a better, ground floor room for my disabled grandma (I did not even have to ask).
All staff in the pub were very helpful both at dinner and breakfast.
The room has recently been refurbished, everything was very clean and new. Very good value for money for the 3 of us.
Good food in the pub at dinner. Tasty full English breakfast, with fruit, cereals and yogurt also available.

Comfortable bed, lots of hot water for the bath and shower, good location for visiting attractions, great wait staff (especially Tyler who was helpful all three days). The scones served with the cream tea were warm and freshly made.

I used to live in Swindon and there are parts to avoid, ann the bottom of town isn't what it used to be, but for a great night out, there is Old Town. For country walks there is Lydiard Park and Coate Water. The surrounding villages and towns and close to the Cotswolds, Swindon is great for a central point

MacArthur Glenn outlet was good. Homesense too
Swindon has too many terrible drivers, who drive too fast & too close. There need to be traffic calming measures & more traffic lights.
Terrible, inconsiderate drivers can't be trusted to obey rules & use roundabouts properly.

The ambiance and excellent food exceeded our expectations.
The ambiance and excellent food exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and fully equipped. The only negative was the bed was slightly smaller than a double which was a shame as a king size would have easily fitted.

There are some lovely parks in Swindon that if you are staying for leisure are worth a visit; Coate Water near junction 15 of M4; Lydiard Park near junction 16.
The Town centre isn’t much to write home about, but a visit to the Great Western Train Village and Museum is very worthwhile. There is also a Macarther Glenn designer, Outlet Centre that is easy to get to with ample parking. At the outlet centre, we enjoy eating at Wagamama's. If you venture over to Greenridge, there is a Fiesta de Cuba restaurant. The meals are great and the price is very reasonable. We find just having a main is ample. It’s our favourite restaurant. Swindon has great transport links to reach surrounding areas; Cotswolds, Oxford, Bath, Bristol and Chippenham are all within shouting distance.

East access to nearby attractions, the M4 and major roads.
East access to nearby attractions, the M4 and major roads. The town itself, both the Old- & and New-town, is a little faded and run down in parts but overall fairly vibrant. Very good range of restaurants to suit most tastes. The pubs I visited were all warm and friendly with decent beer. Never any problems walking around the well signposted town daytime and evening. Overall a surprisingly interesting place surrounded by outstanding areas such as the Cotswolds, the Marlborough Downs and several classical English villages
I’ve been working a few weekends nearby and find rooms do become available at the last minute which is handy. I’ve always had a comfortable stay here, usually for a few hours overnight. Due to this, I don’t usually get a chance to explore the property or sample the menu. Reviews are quite mixed regarding the food fare so may eventually try it if back in the vicinity. This hotel has always provided a relatively pleasant stay.
The room was not comfortably warm and the double insulation for the windows was not so effective. The howling wind was very audible from within the room. I was on the 6th floor.
Staff were truly recommendable. Hotel has easy access to the town centre. Unfortunately there are no coffee facilities in the room. Due of this, free unlimited coffees are offered at reception.
The location is brilliant, just on the edge of Swindon you are in a parkland setting which is beautiful with the original house, lake and parkland setting. It is lovely that it is owned by the local council and available to the public. The bed was comfortable, the room was cool despite the heatwave and the staff were lovely. The cooked breakfast was also delicious
Cosy is in a great area between the town centre and Old Town .Its nice and quiet and there is a lovely pub at the end of the road plus lots of Restaurants near by .Nice big bathroom and bed room and everything you need in the Kitchen and plenty of options for the TV .Full central heating and even a wood burner and easy parking
Normally stay at The Premier Inn Swindon West M4 Junction 16. The Holiday Inn offered a better deal. Lovely room clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly Connor on reception and Flo at breakfast who was kind, friendly and couldn't do enough for us she should be commended. Lovely hotel would definitely stay here again
The proximity to the motorway but it wasnt noisy. The proximity to town centre as well. The layout of the pub/hotel was perfect. Light, clean and modern. Breakfast was great and value for money and more so because it was cooked fresh for us and wasn't sitting around under hot lights.
The host was amazing. I came in late and he made arrangements for me which other hotels wouldn't do. He helped me carry my luggage and was always asking everytime if I needed anything or my room cleaned. I would come again because the service was exceptional
The location of the house is fantastic, in walking proximity to town centre, old town and town gardens. The bedroom furniture, beds, linen, towels, living area, kitchen & kitchen appliances were clean. Smart tv and wifi were in good working condition.
We had initially booked another IHG hotel in Swindon but we’re relocated on arrival as no room’s available.on arrival Charmaine at reception was very helpful quickly checking is in and sorting out a taxi for us.
Upgrade on leisure facilities good and friendly reception staff. I frequently use this hotel on business and leisure as I work around the Swindon area from Wales.
After seeing previous reviews I was pleasantly surprised at how good this hotel was! I would stay here again and would recommend it to others for a short stay .
