Aberaeron is a gorgeous Georgian seaside town in West Wales.
Aberaeron is a gorgeous Georgian seaside town in West Wales. It has great places to eat and great little shops to wander around. Two fabulous cafes for great coffee and food are Naturally Scrumptious and McCowans. Aberaeron has a fantastic book shop called 'Gwisgo' that sells both new and used books together with a wonderful selection of greeting cards. The owners are very knowledgeable and friendly and will help you pick out the perfect book for your reading needs! I've loved Aberaeron since a child and I still love the mix of the old traditional colourful buildings and (now) the 21st Century bars & dining.
A great place if you like boats and harbours, with the most amazing views!
The Ceredigion Coastal Path goes through Aberaeron and there are some stunning views on the path in the direction of New Quay.
A good place to chill out with a good view, and maybe a good book. Lots of benches. Quiet. There is also a river walk (with benches).
The Ice Cream at 'The Hive' is the best I've ever tasted!
Amazing sunsets over the sea (in good weather).
Maybe not the place for young people wanting a lot of night life, but perfect for us not so young who want to relax.

Lovely location, Comfortable beds, Welcoming host. The breakfast is amazing! Quality foods used, homemade bread , excellent selection of cereals , fruit, yoghurts, and very good cooked menu selection, and the homemade granola was fabulous! Decent coffee too !
Dave and Kerry were the perfect combination of sweet and professional. They have a quiet and clean B&B just outside the quaint seaside town of Aberaeron and really are the quintessential Mom and Pop shop. Kerry makes a splendid breakfast in the morning and also
called around town to make dinner reservations for me. And Dave drove us to dinner and back just so I didn’t have to drive myself. It was quite a perfect place to stay.
haven’t stayed in the cottage before always in the hotel which we love. different experience in the self catering cottage but the location still lovely being only two doors down and great to have parking. we ate dinner at the restaurant and the food was excellent, and the two waiting staff were very friendly and happy to indulge my attempts at speaking Welsh which has always been a nice tradition at the Harbourmasters.
It was perfect! We stayed in the beautifully presented cottage. The cottage has 3 bedrooms (2 with large ensuites). It had everything, from very comfortable beds, board games, parking space to luxurious bathroom accessories. The cottage was located next to the harbour and had a lovely view overlooking the harbour. Luckily, we had the weather and time to relax by sitting outside the cottage to appreciate those views.
Just outside Aberaeron, so not as noisy as staying in the centre. Mary was very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable with self catering facilities. I stay in Aberaeron a lot to visit family and will definitely stay here in the future. Lift so you can easily take luggage upstairs.
The room was lovely, the location was great only a short walk to town and the staff were really friendly, they also did an amazing breakfast. This is a great place to stay for a quiet getaway and tranquil countryside experience on the west coast of Wales with beautiful views.
The views of the sea were beautiful and the pod was super comfortable. We enjoyed coastal and inland walks and a delicious seafood meal at the Hive in Aberaeron. We would certainly recommended the Pod to our family and friends.
100% recommend! A great house, very comfortable, clean, comfy beds and plenty of space to relax! The VIEW IS OUTSTANDING from every room! Walkable to main st Aberaeron for shopping, restaurants and the water front!
Whilst a short walk from Aberaeron centre the quality of the accommodation, attention to detail and the unobtrusive attention of our hosts made the short walk worthwhile. The breakfasts were exceptionally good.
I just like the easiness for the check-in and the location. It's remote but 2 minutes to the main road to Aberaeron, lovely walks to discover. The cottage is very cosy and has everything that's needed.
Amazing location with stunning views over the pretty harbour and close to restaurants and shops. Accommodation was clean, stylish and comfortable with everything you need for a short stay in Aberaeron.
Morahan Apartment, has outstanding fixtures and features. It is beautifully decorated, and all fixtures are top notch. Extremely comfortable nights sleep.
Location is Right in the heart of Aberaeron.
Beautiful B&B, exceptionally clean, quality plentiful breakfasts, good parking, lovely location just a short walk into Aberaeron, would certainly recommend to anyone who is thinking of staying here.
Great location near the port. It included an awesome breakfast. In fact, it was the best breakfast we had during our trip to Wales. Very nice proprietor. Good local pub nearby.
The restaurant in the hotel was excellent, especially for fish and with a good wine selection. The location of the hotel was wonderful, and the views from the room were fantastic.
Lovely spot with a gorgeous view of the sea. Great location near Aberaeron, which is such a cute little town! Best shower we had in Wales! Also wonderful wifi & TV set up!
Excellent parking provision with access to the hotel directly from the car parking. Good breakfast with helpful personal attention. Well furnished, attractive decor.
