Updated Policy: - Any illegal social gatherings would not be permitted. This includes any parties. We have always had a strict no parties policy and any guest found to be having this sort of gathering can and will be asked to leave and will be charged a fine to cover any damage and disturbance to other guests. This is making for a more safe and family-friendly environment. Please note that the property has the suites across 3 floors, not including the ground floor where there are none, and there is no elevator on site, being a building from the 1800s.

Mono Suites is Edinburgh's first smart hotel. We operate a manless reception where access is completely flexible and autonomous. Guests will receive access codes which will allow them in and out of the property, making your stay feel more like your private home away from home! The property features 10 boutique suites over 3 floors situated in the historic heart of Edinburgh, making it the perfect place to stay whether you are visiting for business or pleasure. Please note there is no lift. However, the only thing these suites share with historic Edinburgh is their address. Each Suite is contemporary and naturally decorated, to contrast the traditional and busy city outside, making it a tranquil place to rest your head after a long day in the city. With beautiful views of Arthur Seat from your bedroom window, you can forget you are in the middle of bustling Edinburgh. The added beauty is they’re all uniquely diverse, ranging from intimate double bed suites to larger two-bedroom suites at the top of the tower, each individually and elegantly appointed with artwork and fittings giving the rooms an organic and natural feel, perfect for those wanting to sleep from one to six guest.
