This is an unexpected gem! Mark and Sabine were excellent hosts. You can tell they have put so much love and energy into their B&B. The room was impeccable, with lots of thoughtful touches. The bathroom has been renovated to an excellent standard, with some unique features and gorgeous tiles. The breakfast was delicious, with lots of choice, including for veggies/vegans. We couldn't recommend Moortown Lodge enough.

We spent the weekend at Moortown Lodge and were delighted with the accommodation. Our room "Helena" was spacious, and beautifully furnished with a very large luxurious bathroom. It was obvious that a great deal of thought had been taken to meet all the needs of guests. Breakfast Menu is varied and very well cooked and presented with a choice for every diet. The Lodge is well positioned in Ringwood and for easy access to country and coastal trips. Our hosts, Mark and Sabine, were exceptionally hospitable and also informative regarding nearby restaurants and local information. Sabine gave us her homemade Cinnamon Buns on departure which were delicious and just a lovely leaving gesture.

Breakfast was incredibly Lovely couple to run it. Their attention to detail was amazing. They even made me birthday cinnamon and Chelsea buns. Beautiful rooms - real luxury. Only 20 minutes to Chewton Glen where we had a spa day.

Felt very homely, to the point that I felt I should take my shoes off walking in the front door. the room itself was fantastic, clean, warm and the bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom was exceptional, very clean and modern

On arrival we were greeted by Mark and shown to our room, the facilities are excellent, and the property is maintained to a very high standard. Mark ensured we understood where everything was and how everything worked and offered a small bottle of fresh milk for our tea and coffee. The focus on the small things really made us feel valued! Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked to a very high standard.

Located just 5 minutes south of Ringwood, the historic market town at the Western Gateway to the New Forest National Park. The AA 2022 Gold 4-star award-winning Moortown Lodge offers 4 individually designed rooms, free WiFi, and an AA 2022 award-winning breakfasts cooked to order.

Moortown Lodge is a Georgian century 1760 hunting lodge half a mile south of the A31, on the B3347 road. Less than 20 minutes’ drive from Bournemouth and Christchurch. Salisbury, Southampton and Poole can be reached in 30 minutes by car. 0.3 miles to Ringwood Brewery.
