Everything from the warm welcome to the luxury surroundings and laid back feeling of the place. Tim’s breakfasts are very good with amazing extra choices and Amelias hosting (her nanna would be proud). I truly felt like we had found a secret little haven.

Breakfast is quite nice, you can try the full English breakfast or else, both are quite nice home cooking taste. Staff are really nice couple. Bed is very comfortable. Location is very close to the bay/beach, 5 mins' walk to restaurant, there are two Mechealin restaurants nearby, unbelievable !

Less than 10 minutes’ walk from the pretty coastal village of St Mawes, Nearwater offers luxurious bed and breakfast accommodations around 30 minutes’ drive from Truro. It provides free parking and WiFi and a varied choice of breakfasts.

Each room has a flat-screen TV, DVD player, iPod dock, alarm clock and tea and coffee facilities. All have an en suite shower with hairdryer and toiletries.

Full English breakfast is served each morning, and there is also fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals and homemade granola. Daily specials at Nearwater include scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, Spanish eggs and American-style pancakes with maple sirup and French toast.

St Mawes provides ferry crossings to Falmouth, home of Pendennis Castle and the National Maritime Museum. The village of Portscatho, on the opposite coast of the Roseland Peninsula, is a 10-minute drive away.
