We liked the location and the town of Lechlade. The room was large. The staff were charming Breakfast was served from 06:30 in by very efficient staff. there is a lovely lawn down to the river

Spent the night as a stopping point for a two day visit to The Cotswolds. Part of the charm of the facility is its Grade II listing - it's a nice old building! It's located right on the Thames which is great for a short walk. Stayed in the 'Carriage House' section. The rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly. We had dinner in their restaurant - the food was great (try their signature beef dish, it was excellent).

Ideally situated on the banks of the Thames River in the market town of Lechlade-on-Thames, this characteristic 17th century coaching inn blends 250 years of hospitality with state-of-the-art comforts.

New Inn provides an ideal base from which to explore a number of interesting cities, towns and areas of natural beauty. Known as the Gateway to the Cotswolds, it is within easy reach of Bath, Oxford, Cirencester, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Swindon and some of the most beautiful countryside in Britain.

For business events and special occasions the New Inn provides the Thames Suite, designed to accommodate up to 150 people (seated) or 100 guests at an event. The suite is accessed via its own double doorway, meaning it can offer complete privacy from the main hotel.

    8pm is the latest time we publish but if it needs to be later this can be done with prior arrangement. We have a bar and dining room here and so there is always someone here until at least 11pm, normally slightly later....

    Yes the price is cheaper if you pay for breakfast at the time of booking, rather than add breakfast on when you arrive. As things stand, breakfast times are as follows: Monday to Friday: 6:30am to 9am Saturday and Sunday: 7:30am to 10am
