We stayed here for two nights as we were visiting Drayton Manor theme park. Ideal for a short stay. Family room was clean and comfy. Hotel staff all really friendly. Breakfast adequate. Pub next door great for evening meals and again staff really friendly.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Basic amenities, but it is an ibis hotel, and I knew what I was getting before I booked. It was clean, with comfortable beds. Overall, I enjoyed the stay, and it was excellent value for money.

The host was incredibly accommodating of our group at late notice after another booking cancelled on us. The house was a great space for us all to get together, very modern with a lovely garden and great views.

I cannot see my negative comments about the food we had for dinner or any feedback. I said the mash was reconstituted, the frozen vegetables soggy and the pies didn’t have any recognisable pieces of meat in them. Not very pleasant to try to eat.
We were woken at 7am by our neighbour running a bath. Very noisy - like a truck hitting the room. No way could you sleep through it,

The hotel room was very basic, but had everything necessary.
The hotel room was very basic, but had everything necessary. The amazing thing is how very inexpensive it was. The hotel is close to the train station, making it very convenient for us, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. If you're into luxury this isn't your place, but if you're on a budget, you can't beat it.

It is a very interesting town, with a good local football club, a beer museum and a huge Coors brewery.
An (allegedly) haunted house called Sinai with, I believe a moat and some lovely walk ways especially along the canal towpath.

We don’t know this place at all. It’s off our beaten track.
We don’t know this place at all. It’s off our beaten track. My grandson lives in the area and held his wedding at the wedding barns in April. We stayed at St. George’s park hotel on that occasion … because they couldn’t hold a reception due to covid so put the party off until this week. I didn’t like St George’s Park hotel, the food was awful and the noise of drills was deafening … so I searched for somewhere that I thought was nearer enough for an overnight stay. The taxi cost £20 each way to get there which wasn’t great, but the stay at Dovecliff Hotel was lovely.

Great apartment, good location in centre of Burton near everything we needed. Flat was really comfortable, lovely kitchen, comfy bed, nice big shower. Huge TV with a big sofa for relaxing. Location for us was perfect. Easy walk from station, close to large Sainsbury's and close to restaurants and bus stops to get where we needed to go. Was very quiet as well when we were there on a Friday and Saturday night.
Kitchen well equipped with enough pots and pans for cooking. Will be my first choice if I come again.
The path along the river is literally outside the hotel.
The breakfast was excellent, I reccommend the eggs royale and the buttermilk pancakes.
The food for lunch and dinner was also excellent.
Modern TV with freeview, also it has hdmi and usb connections.
Room had a bath.
Room had a/c.
Friendly staff throughout.
Comfy bed although quilt was meant for winter, not summer.
Cheap and cheerful. Didn't have much interaction with staff but lady at front desk was helpful. Price is good, right next to Lidl which would be great for access to the bakery, too bad Lidl had technical difficulties with the bakery when we were staying, but otherwise this would have been great.
Staff were friendly and helpful, hotel was clean and room was comfortable, we had two dogs with us which was also no problem, the girls at the reception made a fuss of the dogs and made them feel welcome also. Breakfast was well set out and food hot and plentiful, coffee was good.
We think that the hotel room itself, although small, was adequate and well decorated with a good en-suite. Coffee and tea facilities were good. We think that the pub / eating area's were very good and the outside will be excellent in the summer.
Everything! Friendly welcome at reception and the room was absolutely amazing. Lovely evening dining where the food was excellent and the breakfast was one of the best we've had in our many hotel stays. Thank you for a pleasurable stay.
What an amazing property and such high standards. Great location just outside Burton. Fantastic views of the town centre yet especially quiet. Clean and airy can't fault anything, well done! Can't wait to return.
Super sandwiches on arrival. Excellent wonderfully cooked dinner. Amazing breakfast. Staff were very helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable, quiet, warm and clean. A jewel of a hotel in an unlikely area
the owner was so nice and the location was so good. it has good access to the train station and the city centre. there is a Lidl just next to the house
