Staff were very friendly and helpful. They carried my bags up the stairs (there’s no lift). They offered me complimentary tea, and looked after my bags when I went out.
United KingdomThe manager was very welcoming and friendly! The room was spotless! Had everything we asked for. The private garden was super clean as well! Lots of little touches in the room which made the stay brilliant! Could not fault the room in any aspect! We will definitely be coming back!

We loved the location, a little away from the hubbub, in the wide cobbled streets and stunning Georgian architecture of Edinburgh’s new town, a short distance from the pretty Stockbridge community. We had a wonderfully relaxing stay and will certainly return.

United KingdomIf I was judging my stay purely on the hotel, it would score great marks already: a comfortable and spacious room, a great location that’s quiet and yet still convenient for accessing the city centre or nearby Stockbridge for a more low-key vibe, and a wonderful breakfast. But what really elevated the trip was the service provided by Sean and his team. Friendly, charming, attentive and happy to engage with us on whatever we wanted to know: restaurant recommendations, day trip ideas, organising a couple of extras/upgrades during our stay, help with personal admin we needed to complete while at the hotel. His personal touch added real character and personality to our trip, helping us get the most out of our whole trip to Edinburgh. When I come back to the city I will look forward to staying here again. If Sean ever moves on to another location, I’ll follow him there! Thank you for helping to make the trip effortless and filled with great insider knowledge on the city.
