Lovely location on the river. Excellent breakfast served in the cafe downstairs. The private outdoor terrace was an added bonus.
United KingdomThe apartment was stylish, ( we loved the pictures), with a large modern en-suite and separate shower room. The rooms were well equipped, well maintained and spotlessly clean. It has gorgeous views, in a fabulous location on the river and close to Grosvenor Park. The private terrace was well furnished and a lovely sun trap. Check in and out was easy and Sarah was a perfect host, very friendly and helpful, as were the team at The Moorings that we met.

A unique and beautifully appointed apartment on the first floor of an 1841 Georgian building with an enviable River Front location. Two spacious double bedrooms, one en-suite, family bathroom, lounge and kitchen/diner. The master bedroom and kitchen/diner both benefit from double patio doors that open onto an enclosed private rooftop terrace that has panoramic views of the River Dee.
I fell in love with this small beautiful building on an English riverbank, after a major renovation in 2015, it is my pleasure to welcome guests to both our beautiful holiday apartment, and downstairs to our lovely restaurant. As a guest of No.23 we look forward to serving you breakfast during your stay, and if you're here for a long weekend, why not join us for a Great British Sunday Roast!
Chester, one of the best preserved Walled City's in Britain and a long established visitor and tourist magnet. Awash with history, with it's roots firmly set in a by gone Roman era - with our stunning Roman City Walls, a Castle, pretty Roman Gardens and of course the dramatic Amphitheatre. A beautiful Clock Tower takes pride of place in the City Centre, a gift to celebrate Queen Victoria's Jubilee. Wander the Rows to discover quaint independent shops and galleries, meander the streets to stumble across ancient pubs and a kaleidoscope of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. The River Dee is the jewel in the city's crown, an unspoilt waterfront to promenade and enjoy the activities including Pleasure Boats, Regatta's, Triathlons, Marathons and even an annual Raft Race. Take in two Cities in one trip, we are merely 40 minutes away from the magnificent Liverpool, home of the Beatles, or if shopping is your thing we are only 20 minutes away from Cheshire Oaks, Designer Outlet Village.
