Number 46 is a short walk from the railway station and also from the seafront. We were greeted and shown to our room which was very comfortable, off the first flight of stairs and very quiet. It was clean and thoughtfully kitted out - a lot of thought had gone into the decor and comfort. There was a good choice of things for breakfast - individual fresh fruit salads in preserving jars, individually boxed cereals, beautifully cooked poached eggs, and good coffee. Checkout was seamless and we arranged to come back to pick up our bags later on the day we left.

Rick welcomed us in as we rang the bell instead of following the instructions for self check in but even so he wasn’t annoyed or anything and was hospitable. After that we were left to our own devices and the room had everything we needed in a nice compact space. We did not expect but we also had free refills of water each day which was appreciated. The room was clean and the tv even had Netflix and prime access. They had a nice courtyard just outside too though we couldn’t take full advantage of it due to the weather. All in all a really great stay at a house which was just 5 mins to the sea, 5 mins to old town and 5 mins to the shopping centre.

This is a great place to stay with, or without young ones. The location is spot on and an easy walk anywhere in and around Hastings. The Manager's were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and have great Tea & Coffee facilities. We had a shared bathroom on this occasion, which was not inconvenient at all, and was certainly spacious and well maintained. The internet is strong and the free parking is a bonus. Would certainly stay here again and highly recommend to others!

This is a great hotel it’s generally unmanned for check in which is a great concept actually. The rooms are warm, clean and impeccable in their cleanliness. There is a microwave and coffee machine in the corridor as well as plates and cutlery so you can make it a home from home rather than eating out all the time.

    There are various parking options as we are centre of town. Full details are sent once a bookings made. Most guests use the pay & display bays or multi-storey car park around the corner which is cheaper if parking all day. Free after 6pm on road.

  • Hi there, We are booked onto a two day kitesurfing course near Camber. We are told that the course will be ran as usual. It is only me and my cousin on the same course (so not a group). I am wondering if we can stay at the hotel? Thanks

  • We’re looking to book 3 nights from the 12th November IF Hastings go’s into lockdown within 7days before do we still get charged

  • Hi there, do you allow late check out for a fee? I would be looking to book 2 rooms for myself and my 3 bridesmaids the night before my wedding but would need the rooms until 2pm the next day. Is this something you could cater for? Thank you, Charlotte

    Hello Charlotte As we are a small establishment we do not offer late check outs at 2pm as this is our check in time for new guests. However please let me know the dates, so that I can see if there is any flexibility. Rick

    Yes we have a twin room available. You need to select the bed configuration required for your stay when booking. Either Superking bed [6ft] or Twin beds [2x 3ft beds]

    At the moment our prices do not include breakfast. We are hoping to offer breakfast by end of May early June. We will include a separate tariff for this option once we know when completion of breakfast room is likely to be. Thank you.

  • Hi where will we be able to park?

    Pay and display bays from 9am - 5.30pm. Monday- Sunday. The yellow line outside the Guest House is Free all-day Sunday and evenings til 8am. The best value parking is the Priory Street car park. Limited free parking is available on Cambridge Road

  • Hello! The room i'd like to book says private bathroom but it also says shared toilet - is this shared with other guests? Thank you.

    Hello All our rooms have private ensuite showers with WCs. There were rooms under the previous owners that had shared bathrooms but these have or should have been updated on booking agent sites. I will look into this and update. Thank you for letting me know.

Our accommodation is ideal for business and leisure travelers with guests having the choice of staying in our rooms or our apartments. All our accommodation has been individually styled and finished to a very high standard, offering a premium level of comfort. With Number 46 being a smaller property it allows us to provide a relaxed and personal service that tailors for our guests every need. All bedrooms are stylishly decorated and equipped with flat screen TV with FreeView, complimentary high speed wireless Internet, mini fridge, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities and a coffee machine. Room rates are for accommodation only Special Instructions. Parking is free outside the guesthouse between the hours of 6pm - 8am and all day Sunday or paid parking is available in the next road and charges are as follows:Upto 1 hour £1.40, 2 hours £2.10, 3 Hours £2.80, 5 Hours £4.00, 10 Hours £6.80, 24 Hours £8.00, Sunday £1.00 all day. Parking is not charged between the hours of 21.00 – 07.00 We only offer a self check in service, details of this service will be text on the day of arrive just before 1pm. Free parking is available outside Number 46 between the hours of 18:00 - 08:00 Monday - Saturday and all day Sunday. Paid parking is available at Priory Street car park, located on the next road. All day free parking is available a short walk from Number 46.

All rooms are serviced daily apart from the apartment which is serviced on the 8th day of a guest's stay.

Double Rooms are not suitable for travel cots, maximum number of guests for double rooms are 2 including children. Family Rooms sleep a maximum of 2 adults and 1 child. Apartment/Suite sleep a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children.

Please note that guests must provide a valid credit/debit card when booking. Number 46 will charge the full amount of the booking 7 days before arrival.
