“The room was large and facilities generally good. The dinning was of a high standard and the 5 course meal really excellent. The wine list was extensive and not too expensive for a decent wine. The lounge was comfortable and nicely arranged. Staff were polite and keen to please.”

“The staff were very warm and welcoming. The room was spotless, spacious, warm, cosy and the bed was very comfortable. We have stayed in other hotels and paid alot more money per night but we didn't get the feel good factor we had after staying at Nuthurst Grange. The setting is beautiful and well maintained. Definitely will be returning.”

“We got married at Nuthurst Grange 25 years ago and we decided to go back to celebrate our Silver wedding anniversary, the staff and the owner, Paul, made our day another day to remember. When we arrived they had booked us into what they now call the bridal suite but realised that this was not the room we stayed in 25 years ago, so they moved us into the old bridal suite, just to make it perfect. ”

“Room was very large. Loved the room views and everything that went with it. Little things let it down/all very easy fixes. Two sinks in bathroom, on one the tap did not work, mould on windows and in closet, only small amount. Room needs super king bed. The mattress was to small for bed box, by 200-300 mm. Inside the closet the safe had been removed so there were bolts sticking out the wall and the wall was a different colour. The toilet seat was a different shape to the toilet. As I say did like the room but for this calibre of room the little things matter.”

“Loved the grounds and setting. Room was really comfortable. A bit warm, even with the fan and windows open. But it was fine and expected. Really useful toiletries and selection on teas & coffees. Great to see a teapot! The outdoor seating area for drinks was lovely. The breakfast was good and we had some poached eggs cooked for us. The orangery was a lovely room to have breakfast in and the tables had all the jams and marmalade’s you need! Landscaping was wonderful and well kept.”
