Check-in was super-friendly, so was the staff. The room was very nice, warm and comfortable. The beds and the sheets were clean, we had a washbasin in the room. Breakfast exceeded expectations by far. We will definitely come back.

We really liked it to stay at Oakley Hotel! Of course you can see that the place is old and dated, but we really didn't mind. For me in fact it gives the hotel more character :-) The facilities are clean, the service is super and the breakfasts were delicious. I also liked the possibilty to make use of the kitchen and make myself a cup of tea. And on top of that the location couldn't be better. It is very close to the main attractions London has to offer. I surely go back to stay at this hotel when I return to London. Don't take the bus and metro all the time, but walk instead. It is only just over 20 minutes to walk to the spectaculair museums V en A, Science and Natural History. (Army museum and Saatchi are even closer, but we haven't been there yet). During the walk over there you can see beautiful buildings and churches. We also enjoyed our walk in Battersea Park just around the corner.

  • Is there a shower in the room

    Our Family Room with Shared Bathroom does not have a shower in the room. The toilets and showers are just down the corridor and are used by other guests on the same floor as the Family Room.

    Parking Recommendations As an initial note - parking in London is difficult and expensive and we do not recommend bringing a car. A small number of Pay and Display parking is available around the hotel for a maximum of four hours (free between 6pm and 8am - no maximum time limit and all day Sunday), situated on the right of Phene Street and Upper Cheyne Street. Do not park on double yellow lines, single red lines or in resident’s bays at any time, or your car will be clamped. Parking is also available in Battersea Park (closed at night time) and a long-term carpark is available for 24hr periods at Edith Grove. Here, 24hrs of parking costing £35.
