From the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel at home. Staff were fantastic and so welcoming. Accomodation was spotless, had everything we needed and then some. Breakfast with Michael serving was a real treat. Would return and definitely recommend. Thanks for your hospitality.

The old Aberlady in was a lovely place to stay, we loved the peace and quiet whilst still close enough to visit Edinburgh, (20 minutes using public transport) The room was modern but still in keeping with the character of the building. The place was family run and everyone was so friendly and couldn't do enough. Aberlady it's self was quaint with some really lovely walks near by. Thankyou for having us!

Very pleased to have found this property and already booked to go back again. Very high class service and delicious food. We had dinner and breakfast at the property and would recommend the restaurant. Interesting menu. On street parking available. Lots of little extras such as toiletries, hand gel, face mask, yummy biscuits.

We ate there for dinner and breakfast and both were delicious, with generous portions. We are already planning our next visit...

  • do you have ground floor rooms

    I am sorry but all of our bedrooms are on the first floor and due to the age of the buildings, only accessible via stairs. Please let me know if I can give you any further information and advice. Regards

  • I would like to book a family room for either 29-30 or 30-31 May but it said no longer available. So just double check whether it is still available?

    We only have a double room available for the night of the 29th as all the family rooms are now sold. We do have a family room available for the 30-31 May. regards

  • Is it possible to get to the Inn by public transport from/to Edinburgh/Edinburgh airport? thanks

    I am sorry but not directly from the Airport, The tram takes you into Edinburgh Centre and then you can get the 124 bus from Princess Street which drops you outside our door. Please let me know if you require further assistance.

    The continental breakfast is included in the room rate however we offer a full Scottish breakfast at £7.50pp. This is pre ordered on arrival (or before) should you wish it. We also have vegetarian and vegan options.

  • Is there safe parking available nearby?

    Parking is on the main street outside the Inn and is totally unrestrcited. There is also parking on nearby adjacent side streets and near the Aberlady Bay. I hope this helps.

  • is the hotel pet friendly? we have a small friendly female dog

    We welcome dogs both in the rooms, in the bar area and garden. The only area in which dogs are not permitted is in the conservatory dining room. If there is anythig else I can assist wth. please let me know. regards

    Parking is in front and all around the Inn on the main and side streets and there are no restrictions - 24hour free parking.
