Ideally located, family friendly accommodation, very comfortable and lovely breakfast (plenty of choice). Added bonus of parking to the rear and right in the centre so in walking distance to some pubs and restaurants. Well recommended

The ambiance of the house is delightful with carefully chosen colours and lots of interesting art work on the walls. The breakfast was exceptional in terms of it cooking, ingredients and presentation. A gem of a B&B.

United KingdomThe breakfast was so yummy and plenty of it, and on our last day we told Julie that we were getting a early ferry so we wouldn't need breakfast and she went above and beyond and made us a food parcel which was amazing, best b&b we have ever stayed in, perfect location for everything you need in Newport and beyond.

A very warm welcome to Old Church House.
A family run Bed and Breakfast in the heart of old Newport – the island’s transport hub.
We are a family run B&B
We are only one block away from the High Street in a surprisingly quiet corner of town with ample guest parking to the rear.
The room is fresh and simply furnished with (we hope) everything you will need.
Breakfast is a choice of traditional cooked or Continental served in the South facing Dining Room.
For evening meals there are plenty of good pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance.
The room is equipped with TV/DVD player and there is a good supply of films and books for you to borrow. Free Wi-Fi access is available.
Newport is the Capital and County Town of the Isle of Wight, situated in the middle of the island at the hub of the road and bus network.
All parts of the island are within 30mins. drive or accessible by bus from the central Bus Station which is 5 minutes walk from us.
Whether you are here on business or pleasure we look forward to making your stay a happy one.
We are excellently located for exploring the island on foot or by bicycle.
Newport is the capital and county town of the Isle of Wight and has most of the shops you would find on North Island.
There are a few good pubs - our favorite is the Newport Ale House that is tiny, just round the corner.
