We loved the whole essence of developing an Irish heritage landmark. So we consider ourselves a destination venue not just a pace to stay. We have set up most of the rooms for couples sharing but also can have a variety of permutations for large inter generational family reunions and group gatherings. We host occasional sedate 'hen' nights We have just hosted 18 people from 6 different countries for the North West 200 2018. Many North American & overseas golfers have stayed here due our proximity to Royal Portrush, Portstewart & Castlerock golf courses. We were highly complimented by a 4 Star US Navy Admiral who used the Mill as a base for golf while the wives toured Giant's Causeway, Belfast & Londonderry. We are also proud to have hosted several cycle clubs form the Republic of Ireland and welcome the Tribesmen Rowing Club from Galway this August who will paddle the length of the Bann in the three days they stay with us. Special rates for very large groups with an outdoor activity focus, ask. We also sell locally-made products from the Pavestone Community in Coleraine where people with special needs makes handicrafts such as 'fiery moulten Giant's Causeway' pottery

More pictures and contacts on social media, FB & IG More facilities in adacent outbuilding called River Rhee Hall There is residential accommodation above River Rhee Wilson Hall. It is overspill accommodation for the mill on vacation and or may be rented separately. Do not expect exclusive access to the whole or the estate unless you have contracted for this in full by paying of the additional accommodation. In peak season the manager may use this flat to supervise the property but the manager footprint is extremely light.

Neighborhood info

Prime Tourism Location; Causeway Coast & much much more The local area is quiet and relaxing as a destination in its own right but if you want to venture out, tourist attractions abound with enough attractions to keep visitors busy for a fortnight or more, providing you have a car. The Flax Mill is centrally placed, close to the boundaries of Counties Antrim & Londonderry, making it ideal for trips to world famous UNESCO listed Giant’s Causeway & Bushmills Irish Whiskey Distillery to the east which are 'must do' stops on any tour of Ireland. The property is also close to the busy seaside resorts of Portrush, Portstewart, Portbalintray & Ballycastle, giving you a huge choice to dine and/or entertain the family. The location filming of Game of Thrones TV series has added to the tourist interest in the area with the Dark Hedges being one of the most photographed spots around. To the west of the Mill, you may wish to try some of Northern Ireland’s greatest natural & cultural treasures – the National Trust Properties of Downhill, Mussenden Temple, Benone Beach, Limavady, Castlerock and the historic, legendary City of Londonderry.
