it is in a quiet location and was just what we were after. as a disabled person, it had a walk in shower which I need. it had 2 steps in which were fine with me! definitely will be back! beds were really comfy & we slept really well.

Our second stay and even better than the first! The new parking bays at the front of the cottage are a fantastic addition. The surroundings and the cottage are lovely and picturesque. As others have mentioned it's an amazing place to stay with yr dog and the orchards across the road are lovely to walk in before heading out for the day. The cottage is beautifully clean, everything is provided. And it's amazingly cosy and warm in the evening. Just love everything about this place, we'll be back!

    It is a self contained property, we provide bedding and towels and it has two bedrooms and sleeps 4 people and we also have a cot. We accept well behaved dogs and people.

    No you don’t. We can’t seem to change this on the web site. Sheets and towels are provided. Even dog towels if required!

    Yes there is. I stayed here in lock down as my husband was shielding and I worked most days from there and it was fine.

This is a comfortable, clean and quiet cottage to explore the local area. We back onto orchards and hop gardens leading to woods with acres of beautiful walks. We are dog-friendly and welcome furry friends. It is a short drive into Canterbury and to Whitstable and the Kent coast. We are half an hour from the channel tunnel for a day visit to France for lunch. You can also book Little Orchard Cottage next door which sleeps two people and is wheel chair friendly to enjoy extended family/friends staying together. This beautiful cottage in a wonderful orchard offers great accommodation for 4 guests with 2 bedrooms available. The living room has a sofa for comfortable seating while guests are relaxing after a day out in the countryside. The first bedroom is also downstairs where the double-sized bed is placed with a nice view of the garden outside. The stairwell will take you to the second bedroom where single beds are waiting upstairs Experienced baby sitter/dog sitter is available to give you a night off. We can also provide recommendations for restaurants/pubs in the neighbourhood. This property is 10- minute drive from Kent and Christchurch Universities.
We are friendly and helpful and enjoy meeting new people. Come and stay in our beautiful country cottage backing onto orchards and hop gardens. We have acres of out door space on our door step including The Pilgrims’ Way and the North Downs Way.
We live in an area of outstanding natural beauty and the North Downs Way and the Pilgrim's Way come through Chartham Hatch. Canterbury Cathedral is stunning and a fascinating place to visit, along with the small Roman museum. Dover castle is also very interesting and there are lovely sea side towns such as Deal, Folkstone and Whitstable.
