Pannett Park, Whitby
Pannett Park View is a 2 bedroomed flat on the 2nd floor of Broomfield Terrace opposite Pannett Park with beautiful views of the park gardens from the lounge windows. Accessed via stairs to the 2nd floor which opens up onto the hall with rooms off. The lounge is a light and airy room with corner sofa which seats 4, dining table and chairs which seat 6. There is gas central heating throughout and the flat is warm and cosy. There is a bathroom with shower above and heated towel rail - all towels provided. The kitchen has hob, cooker, microwave fridge with freezer compartment. Stairs lead up to the bedrooms master bedroom has a king size bed and the other bedroom has two 3 foot single beds. The flat is very comfortable and ideal for exploring Whitby.
My partner was born in Whitby and all his family still live there so we visit this beautiful seaside town as often as we can.
Just a few minutes walk from the flat brings you into the hub of this wonderful atmospheric port, with a labyrinth of quaint and narrow streets and alleyways with, cobbled market square, you can climb up the 199 ancient steps to the famous abbey, or sit and enjoy a cocktail by the harbour. There are good restaurants, quirky tea rooms and beautiful fish and chips to savour - the choice is endless! There are long sandy beaches with donkey rides, ice-creams and deck chair hire for the grown-ups! or you could take a boat ride out to sea, or for the brave at heart, an evening ghost walk around the town?
