“I've been visiting this hotel for decades and was rather fond of this grand old lady but four years ago I had horrendous food poisoning and vowed never to go again. But after a wonderful swim lunch with great food last weekend we immediately booked a night's break for two and it was beyond exceptional. The refurb is superb and we had an excellent spacious and beautifully decorated room with a luxurious bathroom with a view to die for! The food is almost haute cuisine and beyond our expectations - just need a little more yogurt for breakfast as the healthy options were in high demand. We'll be back for sure! ”
