“We stayed in the Captain's Cabin. It was cosy and spacious with a lovely big balcony. The children loved it and so did we. Things to do on site and close to lots of places to visit. We will definitely be back.”

“Lovely location very peaceful and tranquil. The lodge was lovely and warm on arrival. The hot tub was ready however, such a shame we couldn’t use it as it was tipping down with rain the whole weekend, I would have thought there would have been a cover so that it could still be used, this was very disappointing as I’d taken my husband here for a birthday weekend and he’d specifically said he’d like to stay in a lodge with a hot tub. The lodge was well equipped for two people, everything you need for a weekend away. The rooms are spacious a little dated but clean and tidy although the mattress was not very comfortable a little lumpy. There are lovely walks around the area take a right at the pond and a 20 min walk takes you to the Nags Head where they have lovely food well worth the walk! ”

“I can only descibe this Lodge as Magical, set in the woodlands on one side of the Lodge & a golf course the otherside. From the moment we turned up we instantly felt relaxed & tranquil, away from the hustle & bustle of the world. The Lodge was so private, & had everything we needed for a 3 night break. The bed was so comfy & the Hot Tub was wonderful. Our only visitors were the super friendly & super cute squirrels. & to top it all off we were able to bring our little Chihuahua & Jack Russell.”
