We were attending a wedding at Craig-y-Nos Castle and the stables are literally over the road so were so convenient.

Ideally situated for the Brecon hills and the surrounding areas. I stayed in room 4 up the quaint staircase into the large attic room. It had all the amenities, microwave, electric hob, toaster and kettle. With a lovely big comfy double bed. 2 big velux double glazed windows that over look the stables and farm yard with the hills beyond. The shared bathroom just along the landing is beautiful and the shower was a welcome relief after a long hot day. A very peaceful setting where the farm sounds make a pleasant change from the drone of the city. Karen the host couldn't have been more helpful .

It was a lovely place to stay while exploring the surrounding area, there are plenty of walks and we found a lovely pub just a short walk from the place. The room was big and the host was friendly and polite.

There were a couple of minor issues, but they were very quickly resolved to my complete satisfaction and pleased to leave an excellent report. The host were very helpful and could not have been nicer. Lots to do nearby, the Craig-Y-Nos country park is a must see whatever the weather.

Set in the Upper Swansea Valley, in the Brecon Beacons National Park, Pentre offers on-site riding stables, trekking centre, and free Wi-Fi for all guests.

Come and stay in the delightful rural welsh countryside on our working farm, meet the horses, sheep and dogs right outside your window. Where you can take our friendly dogs for a stroll or even take our horses for a ride up in to the beautiful mountains . Come and experience the fun part of the countryside with all our wonderful animals. Right opposite Craig y nos country park with amazing walks outside our door. So much to do in our area if you love the outdoors this is a beautiful place to stay .
