The cottage is absolutely beautiful. Such a quirky and compact design. From the outside it looks really small, but you have to step down into the living area which means a lot of the space is below the surface. Everything you could possibly need, lots of natural light and interesting features. Had the most magical cosy weekend with the fire on and the curtains closed while the weather outside was grim! Great for doggy owners because the yard is enclosed. Would be lovely in the summer too, with the seating outside. Worth mentioning there is a car park just round the corner (honesty box asks for £1 to park). Lots of walks and beautiful scenery on the doorstep. Beds very comfortable and a cute doggy basket with blankets, toys and treats. Couldn't have asked for more!

Pinfold is best described as compact and quirky. It is a perfect bolt hole for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and Pendle District. Gisburn forest is literally down the road and is fantastic for bike enthusiasts and walkers alike. PLEASE NOTE THIS COTTAGE IS IN THE RURAL HAMLET OF TOSSIDE, NOT SKIPTON, AS THE AUTO GENERATED BOOKING.COM DESCRIPTION SUGGESTS - IT IS GENERATED THIS WAY DUE TO THE PROPERTY HAVING A SKIPTON POSTCODE. The cottage has everything you will need for your stay, complete with a fitted kitchen, downstairs bathroom, cosy lounge and 2 double bedrooms it is the perfect place to snuggle up after a day exploring. The Kitchen: Fridge with small box freezer, microwave, slow cooker, single combi oven/microwave, seperate microwave, induction hob, kettle. **Entry into the cottage via back door into the kitchen, bathroom also on this level, 2 steps down will take you to the lounge** The lounge: Armchair, 3 seater sofa, pouffe, log burner, Smart TV with Freeview & DVD player and dining table seating 4. Accessed via the kitchen by 2 steps. The bedrooms: Upstairs, 2 double beds set on high plynths accessed via 2 steps. **NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE WITH MOBILITY ISSUES** The cottage is detached and has small gardens wrapping around it perfect for sitting out and enjoying the comings and goings of small hamlet life with a little glass of something! Please note the garden is secure for your four legged friends however the wall nearest the road is on the lower side so larger breed dogs may be able to hop over, therefore you may need to supervise them while they are exploring. Parking is opposite the cottage on a large layby. Please note the postcode for the cottage (BD23 4SQ) can take you to Hartleys Farm. If you get to the farm you have gone a little too far and have driven right through Tosside. The cottage is in the centre of Tosside opposite the Community Centre.
We (Sami and Jack) took on Pinfold Cottage on the 30th April 2021. Before this it was already a well established holiday let. We have lots of plans for Pinfolds and are excited to make it our own.
Pinfold Cottage is set in the beautiful yet very RURAL hamlet of Tosside. Tosside itself has a Community Centre which offers events all year round, including quizzes and a licensed bar. Alongside the Community Centre there is also The Old Vicarage Tearooms, just down the road (1 minute walk) from the cottage. This offers breakfasts, lunches and evening meals, takeaways and also serves alcohol. Please be aware it is closed every Wednesday and Thursday. ONLY TAKES CASH. It also has Ebike hire if you fancied taking advantage of some of the bike tracks within Gisburn Forest. Gisburn forest can be accessed from the cottage on foot or take the car 10 minutes down the road to one of its many forest hub car parks. The Yorkshire Dales are also within short driving distance including the glorious 3 peaks, Ingleton Waterfalls walk ,Malham Cove and many more!
