Plovertmuir is a well situated property on the south side of Westmuir village overlooking the fertile farm land of the Vale of Strathmore and the Sidlaw hills. Glamis castle and estate are close by to the south and the Angus glens are just .to the north of us. The cottage was developed from part of the old red sandstone steading near our house some time after we came to live here . It is furnished to a high standard with underfloor heating and modern fittings.. There are several good golf courses nearby and Carnoustie and St Andrews less than an hour away. The cities of Dundee and Perth are only half an hour.
I am a retired farmer who enjoys being in the countryside, looking after the property, walking the dogs . I have a big family with lots of grandchildren so they need a lot of attention also I like to spend time in my workshop making all sorts of things. My wife is a patchworker and quilter and will sell fabric to anyone who wants it. We both like meeting people and look forward to welcoming our guests
