“This was a last minute late night pitstop on a work trip and I was really pleasantly supervised by how lovely the place was for a very bargain price! Classically proportioned 18th century English farmhouse with huge simple but elegant rooms. Wifi worked fine for me, and plug sockets easily reached behind the bed. Breakfast was buffet style including cooked breakfast. A good range, and I liked the toaster at each table. Otherwise all was simple, easy and relaxed. Wish I had stayed longer!”

“We stayed at the guest house just when the lockdown restrictions just lifted. Initially we had mixed feelings about the property. It is a lovely place, but needs a bit more care I guess. We had amazing time at the end, the host was great and we had the whole terrace, bbq grill and conservatory all to ourselves. The breakfast was really good too. We liked that the house is located remotely and if there are no other guests kids can make noise and run around without bothering anyone. There is afield just behind the house and the kids enjoyed playing there. There is a tennis court with rackets as well”
