We were visiting family who live almost on the doorstep but due to coronavirus rules we cannot stay in their home as they are 5. Staying here enabled us to visit in shifts. Hopefully we can visit again soon and won’t hesitate to explore Poplars again.

The room was immaculate and clean, everyone we met was so warm and welcoming, the breakfast was very well cooked, not greasy and set us up for a lovely day. Nothing was a hassle, and it was lovely to be able to come and go. We will definitely be back.

We look forward to welcoming you to our Victorian farmhouse. We have renovated the old farm house to provide comfortable accommodation with modern shower and bathroom facilities. We have 6 rooms in total. Three kingsized double bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms, one standard double room which shares a bathroom with the standard twin room and 1 single room with ensuite shower room. The double and twin rooms can make an ideal self contained suite, sharing a large bathroom with shower. Our breakfast supplies are sourced locally, large free range eggs from Meadow farm just down the road. Our breakfast sausages and best quality bacon are supplied by Woburn butchers. There is a separate residents lounge with a large flat screen tv for relaxing on the sofa. Tea and coffee making facilities are available free of charge in our light and bright garden room. We have plenty of outside space with ample off street parking on our large drive. Wether you are visiting family, exploring or on business, we look forward to making your stay as enjoyable as possible.

There are many local places of interest. The historic towns of Hitchin, Cambridge, Ampthill and Bedford are a short drive away. Milton Keynes has shopping, the indoor snowzone and much more. Woburn Abbey and Safari Park, Whipsnade Zoo and RSPB headquarters at Sandy offer days of entertainment. We have The Shuttleworth collection and Old Warden Aircraft displays in the summer. The Swiss Garden and Jordan's Mill are nearby. There's Duxford War Museum and Bletchley Park. Golf courses are Mount Pleasant, Beadlow or Millbrook, with others nearby. Arlsey Station is walking distance and Hitchin stations is 6 miles so it's only 35mins train journey into Kings Cross if you fancy the museums or a night at the theatre in the West End. Champneys Henlow offers spa days and is in the village. Centre Parcs Woburn also offers spa days and evenings with beauty packages. We're sure you'll find lots to do here.
