John was very hospitable and a pleasure to meet. And the fact that he stocked the fridge and pantry before we got there was a very pleasant surprise!

Lossiemouth is a delightful seaside town with two beautiful white sandy beaches. Lots of room and never over run. A delight to have a peaceful walk or a dip in the ocean. The water in September we found positively balmy. There is a sports centre and swimming pool and some really nice restaurants and hotels.

Such a beautiful place.
Such a beautiful place. Highly recommend the salt cellar for a meal. The boat trip onto the moray firth dolphin spotting wow to be up close to these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat was simply mindblowing. The beach is stunning and a lovely place for a stroll watching surfers and an array of wildlife you really could lose yourself for a few hours here it is so tranquil.

It is a lovely Scottish Town overlooking the Moray Firth.
It is a lovely Scottish Town overlooking the Moray Firth. It is well placed for travelling to places of interest. RAF Lossiemouth is set away from the town, but it is exciting to see some of the Typhoons doing manoeuvres over the sea. There are a couple of good restaurants, but they are small and are not open late. It has a very good golf course, which is very popular and it holds important tournaments.

Lossiemouth has a beautiful beach, and everything you need in the town centre. There are plenty of takeaways and bars in the town. And local supermarkets. Lossiemouth is in a good location for visiting other areas.

We visited at the end of May and honestly expected it to be busier (happy that it was not) I think it is one of those places that many people have yet to discover. It is worth the trip. There are just enough facilities, food outlets, pubs, shopping, etc to keep you going. The beaches are lovely, kept clean (we saw the local Brownies / Guides doing a rubbish collecting service on the beach one evening - which I thought shows that the locals take pride in the area - even though people should be more respectful and take their rubbish home) The golf club and course is excellent too. And the ice cream - well - get me some more!!
Very welcoming host, very professional. The house is located in a stunning spot. We know the area very well and we're exceptionally pleased with our view. Our room was a little small but we had our own private lounge which we could use if we so wished but we were very Happy with our room. Breakfast was lovely and parking isn't an issue. We parked on the road and it was fine.
Comfy beds, nice bathroom. Fantastic view. We will return one day.
Spent Christmas weekend with family in this lovely place. It has everything we needed - fridge, air fryer, pans… the fireplace is a winter highlight, completing our Christmas mood🎄 The Lighthouse in full view is excellent. Supermarkets and dining places are nearby too. We’ll keep this place in mind when back in the area! Thanks too for excellent comms with the host😊
I was absolutely delighted with the standard of accommodation at Cliffside as it was very comfortable, really well equipped and spotlessly clean. It was an ideal base to explore the local area and direct access to the beach was fabulous. The owners were very welcoming and helpful with recommendations for activities and restaurants.
Yes, the hotel rooms are a little dated, but ours was spotlessly clean, warm and very comfortable...the character, cleanliness and general aura of the hotel more than makes up for this minor flaw. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Restaurant food excellent. Lobby area very clean and comfortable too. Lovely area to sit a unwind.
The property was perfectly situated for the scent of Lossiemouth, the beach and general areas. Parking was extremely convenient and easy to find a space.
The property was clean and had all the required facilities in terms of kitchen/bathroom etc
Fabulous location about as near to the edge of the sea as you could get and with absolutely stunning views across Spey Bay. Surprisingly spacious apartment, which is extremely well equipped, and the under-cover parking area is a real bonus.
Excellent family size room with views across the golf course to the sea.
Extra personal items included in the room/ensuite to make your stay more enjoyable. These you wouldn't get in a hotel.
Excellent breakfast very well presented.
Excellent location for sight seeing in Lossiemouth and the surrounding area. Great views of the Moray Firth from the cottage. Everything was there that you could think of and more. The host was so helpful and very accommodating.
Lovely comfortable cottage with plenty of outdoor space too.
Well equipped cottage, everything you need for a holiday is provided.
Easy access to Lossiemouth and Moray coast - lots of lovely local coastal walks.
Booked this little gem as Premier Inn Elgin was fully booked. What a fantastic find. Excellent room and fabulous food. Will be back here on my next visit to Elgin. Cheaper than PI and just 10 minutes to Elgin.
Impressive place to stay. It's like your own flat during holidays. Very tidy. Cosy beds. Own kitchen.
A big thank you to Ann & John. Great & very friendly hosts.
Best place we ever stayed in Scotland.
Modern and very well equipped house. Three double bedrooms all ensuite. Large dining area and great kitchen lounge all open plan. Minutes from beach and some great walks and 100m to shops and restaurants
Dinner was amazing, I had a delicious steak and my pudding loving husband had the best pudding he has ever had!!. Room was just what we needed. Breakfast was great. Lovely staff, lovely hotel.
The property was very well looked after and in a brilliant location 2 min walk from the lighthouse and beach but also not far in the car from the like of the other beach and main Lossiemouth
